Great customer service by Carlos, Amelia and Vanessa. Went into Bath & body Works to check out their fall collection. I am a big fan of the Wallflower plug-ins, I have the adjustable plug that allows you to adjust the amount of fragrance output. I appreciate the variety of options and they last better than Glade or Febreze. Carlos (a manager) was out on the floor setting up a new display, I do appreciate when managers work in the view of customers vs in an office. He was cleaning up a mess, but even while I was shopping, I was looking for specific fragrances, helped me out. First I asked about a Spring fragrance I was hoping they had (crystal waves), seeing if they had any left over. Then I asked about Beach Blanket, which was available just a week prior. He said it was sold out :(. I was also curious about the scent; football season, as they didn’t have a sample, it was apparently new. Carlos didn’t have it out yet, just one on display, but gave me the display, said it smelled similar to ‘Bookshelf’ another fragrance mentioned was one of his favorites. I was holding it, knowing there was only one available; but still curious what it was before I bought it. I was able to work with another associate, Amelia, to get a sample made, and then she looked up the flavor mixed inside to give me understanding to what I was smelling. When I smelled it, it was nice, but too strong for my apartment. I didn’t end up enjoying Football Season, but got 5 others. Felt bad cause I didn’t buy what they had made for me, but that’s what I appreciate about this store; is their hospitality. I enjoy this location, the help by the associates, no one is texting, people are working hard and they don’t hover, they let you shop but are available when you need them. Vanessa checked me out, she was very nice, made conversation about the other samples I had bought, and recommended I make an account. I mentioned not wanting contact emails or texts, so she was able to make the account without the notification which i definitely appreciated.

I have been a long time Bath and Body Works customer but I Don’t recommend this store unless you are okay with all the following experiences: First of all: they will give you order to wrong person. Yes, that’s happened to me. They are careless and they won’t check the order number or ID The second: they will cancel your order if there is a promotion and they will say this is a shame to you— face to face. Recently my job been crazy busy I have to work 7 days a week. I forgot to buy Halloween decor for my family. When I realized that it was all sold out online. I placed online order pickup — I was tentative for this Austin Street store since they messed up my order but I have no choice. But guess what happened? They canceled my order even they do have them! When I went there tonight I said that light up candle holder— they have plenty! But the manager- a white guy said he can’t honor me the same price, so I have to pay $40 more. To make it worse, the elder Filipino lady kept saying this is a shame in front of me when she check me out. I do understand English— as she does - so I just asked her: why you saying that, I didn’t do anything wrong. She refused to talking to me in the beginning— I don’t know why because I am also Asian. Then she began to playing. She kept saying I double ordered — I am not. I had to keep asking: just give me my order and let me go. But she just standing there and questioning me instead of doing her job. That’s a shame of you — Austin Street. That’s the way you treat your customers?

Well, well one of this things that happens to me, I had walked by this store so many times and see their beautiful windows displays, except oh it’s for ladies! What a total surprise I had when after looking up places to buy candles and Bath & Body Works comes up. Walking in and was greeted by a very friendly, pleasant sales person, asked what I’m looking for, immediately took me to candles section and gave me a small sales tips to select what I’m looking for. I was surprised by the beautiful displays of so many types of candles, lotions, freshness that for one minute I forgot what I was looking for, when a second sales person asked me if there is anything in particular I’m looking for? Candles and explained exactly what I’m looking except don’t know which one to pick out so many to choose from, after listening to her I took her advice and purchased them. She rung the sale for me. Abbey did an amazing customer service, which I didn’t expect. Definitely I will come back to this shop not only for candles but other items that I could use. Store is beautifully decorated, very neat and pleasant atmosphere all together!!
