Worst experience buying fish in my life . I told them I want about 2 pounds of Chilean Sea Bass fillet . The fish was not exposed, it was in the back fridge . They cut a whole piece a little over 2 pounds for a total of $84 . The guy plays dumb like he doesn't understand English , so he keeps ignoring me when I tell him I want fillet pieces . So I just left with that one big piece, hoping I could just cut it at home in smaller pieces . No straight edge in this piece, since it was the first one carved out, but I got home and attempted to cut smaller fillets. First incision, my knife strikes a thick bone. Angry as hell, I go back (25 min away) , look for parking , and walk in the store asking the guy to give me fillets I can cook myself, since I'm not a chef to carve bones out of fish. They cut the bone out, it's about 5 by 3 inches and thick, and the rest of the fish is carved in these odd , irregular pieces , that look like meat for dogs or for grinding , not for serving guests at Thanksgiving. Dishonest Chinese guy, what a surprise. He said if I want real fillets, it's $70 per pound , not $35 . Bullshit . This picture is from the Met supermarket in maspeth. This is what I wanted , and it's $35 per pound . Not your dog food leftovers. Wasted $84 and opportunity to serve my guests good fish. Why is it so difficult to find honest Chinese business ? Seriously. Rip off artists and liars

This is the best place for all kinds of seafood. All fresh, mussels are clean, salmon sliced to perfection. All employees friendly and very helpful. Alberto always greets you with a smile and answers any questions on your mind about any of the large selections to choose from. If by chance he doesn't have what you're looking for, he will get it for you. A little on the pricey side but worth every penny.

Extremely rude. There is a nice staff member behind the fish counter, but the man who cleans the fish next to the fish counter is unbelievably rude and disrespectful to the customers. I arrived 45 minutes before the store's closing time. This grumpy old man was already out trying to close up the fish counter, pushing me away with the fish cart even. I still picked 3 fishes with the nice man behind the counter, but this grumpy old man yells, "Oh come on, no more cleaning!!" The nice staff goes, "Just these 3." The old man reluctantly took the 3 fishes and headed to his counter, giving me an annoying look. As he walked behind me I said, "Thought you closed at 6pm." He responded, "Yeah, but I have to clean the kitchen! Now you give me 3 fishes to clean!!" At this point I ran out of my patience and just left the store. It's not that I came in 5 minutes before the closing time and asked them to clean 3 fishes. 45 minutes. And he thinks he deserves to complain to the customer for coming in too late. I had shopped many times at this store before, but I won't go back until this extremely rude and annoying grumpy old man leaves or gets fired. Not even least mannerism towards...
