Sadly, this place is very janky. You're basically paying a cover fee to stay indoors for a few hours. 70% of the games are broken or missing parts.
Good:: Low tech games- Pool table was the best value, as it has all the balls, but the surface is a bit worn and the cues are headless. The next best values are ping pong (if they have balls) and tabletop shuffleboard.
Bad:: Pretty much the reason you came in for, The Games-
1 out of the 4 skeeball machines work properly. of the 3 not working, 1 doesn't return balls, so you physically have to retrieve it. The other 2 machines are eyesores that aren't even turned on.
Same with the basketball machine; 2 out of the 3 are powered on. Of the 2 turned on, only 1 works. The other has a broken sensor and you physically have to pull the balls out. Oh, and all the basketballs except 3 are deflated.
Board games are missing pieces. Half of arcade games aren't turned on. The only reason this place gets 2 stars is because it's indoors, your can bring your food in, and your kids can run around and be somewhat entertained.
Honorable Mention:: Still useful if you need a place to rest for 2 hrs (but if you're going in to play games, you'll be done in an hour). No bathroom, you have to use the public one outside,...
Read moreFor $5-8 per person depending on when you arrive, you can play all the games within the game room an unlimited number of times. There are two sessions on each weekend day, so it's not necessarily walk-in and play but I don't think you'll need a whole session's time to try everything out. We spent at most 1.5hrs here.
They had classic arcade games such as basketball hoops, shuffleboard, skeeball, arcade cabinets, racing, and jenga. The concept is great but almost all of the games are janky, missing parts or broken. The games that worked the best were the old school arcade cabinets.
A decent place to spend some time but I would probably only go once. Industry City is my go-to place to eat and walk around with friends and family. There's always something new to try or experience, especially in the warmer seasons!
If I was looking for arcade nostalgia at Industry, I would walk around the top floor of Japan City with claw machines, gatchas, and various vendor stalls. Not prefect but visually...
Read moreRight after paying the required entrance fee and then checking out the space, we realized half the games were broken or defunct. About 3 out of 9 video games were working; 2 out of 4 skee ball games were working; ping pong tables were lopsided; none of the 3 basketball machines were working; chess was missing pieces; lame UNO cards were lying around. The only thing to play with were the wooden blocks and a bunch of kids were in line fighting over them. Don’t really don’t recommend unless you just want to pay for a space to let your...
