I just had the best experience in this store. I brought items in for donation around 5:30 pm on Friday. The front door person greeted me in a friendly way and took my donations quickly. I then shopped around until almost closing time - way longer than I had expected! The clothes were just that good. I ended up getting two gorgeous wedding guest dresses (fancy) in perfect condition - plus two pairs of running shorts, a robe, two nightgowns, an immaculate Diane Von Furstenberg dress, a skirt, a leather jacket another dress - all for $150. Then, as I was leaving, it started pouring rain! I asked the friendly door attendant if they had any plastic bags and he got me some trash bags to put over my stuff and shoes. Unfortunately, right when I got to the train I realized that I had left my phone in one of my donation bags! I ran back to the store and they had already closed, but once again the door attendant came to my aid and said he would go look for my phone in the back. Pretty soon, several store attendants were helping me and they were so kind - telling me stories about when they had lost their phones as well - until finally the door attendant found it! I was elated. I have been going to this Goodwill for about five years now and I've always said it has the best selection of clothes in town. Now I know that the staff are also the best. Can't recommend enough! (Just be sure to wear something simple that you can pull clothes on over - the line for the fitting room is...
Read moreThis location usually doesn't give me a good experience. In depends who is a cashier. When a cashier is one of the managers the prices are not fixed anymore. I came back home and checking my receipt I see I had been charged for 6. Blazers 19.99 each instead of 9.99 ! One dress 25.55 . Light Jackets 29.99 when it supposed to be 14.99 All the item had colored plastic tags not individually priced tags. Please don't write to remember that the money support Goodwill initiatives. Questionable practices are not acceptable even if they are in a good faith. You can not change once marked price just because
Update 03/28/2025 There we go again . They took some of my stuff, I have found, away from me when checking out. All items had tags attached. No explanation. When asked what had happened they told me that the tags are wrong. Of course too low wrong not too high wrong. They said people switch tags and they know what the price should be. I see no sense in switching the tags and leaving items behind. What may happen is someone wrongly prices it. However, once priced you should not take items from someone’s hand and pricing them higher. Who does this. Then you are surprised the brand has no respect and people complain about it. The same happens to another customer next to me. I have all recorded just in case if someone want to say...
Read moreTERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Decided to stop in here with my mom to browse around. While I was looking at tops this older black woman with blonde braids, AN EMPLOYEE, had yelled at a customer for putting a top back on the wrong rack. The employee told the customer that something didn’t belong there ... and the customer said “sorry I didn’t know where to put it”. And the woman snatched the clothing from her and said “NOW YOU KNOW” Mind boggled by her disgusting “CUSTOMER SERVICE” I walked to my mom and told her. Several minutes later while my mom was in front of a rack looking at tops, the same EMPLOYEE rudely said “excuse me” , stepped right in front of my mom making her back up and just put some clothing away and decided to stand there and organize the clothes. I overheard her talking to another employee about the first customer about doing the incorrect thing and I was just in shock with how someone at a GOODwill store could hire somebody with such a UGLY personality. She doesn’t belong there, that’s for sure.. Highly recommend not going to that location if you’re looking into goodwill stores. I left there feeling absolutely disgusted about that woman being in charge of interacting with customers and being hired to HELP not HURT. Please fire her immediately or else you will lose many...
