This is my go-to Japanese restaurant in Elmhurst. I’ve tried many of their dishes and they consistently meet my expectations. I highly recommend the Takoyaki and ikageso —the Takoyaki comes in a generous portion and is full of flavor, while the ikageso is tasty and perfectly crispy. The Niku Udon and Gyudon are quite similar (one with noodles, the other with rice), and both are enjoyable. I’ve also tried the Steak Ramen and Chashu Don, which were decent, though not my top picks. For the Ebi Fried, I personally wish the shrimp were a bit larger. Overall, I really enjoy this restaurant, which is why I keep coming back to try more of their dishes. The Takoyaki alone makes every visit worthwhile.

New ramen place in Elmhurst. Not crowded on Friday night. We ordered 2 bowls of ramen - black garlic and pork belly, they were served at temperature that is not hot enough / lukewarm for a ramen. We tried eating it but then decided it had to be hotter for a ramen, so we told our server. He heated up each bowl in the microwave, it was better, but still not hot enough. The taste of the meat and the soup was fine, altho it didn’t taste too different between the black garlic broth and the regular tonkotsu. The Thai iced tea did not taste much like Thai iced tea.

Seichou? Say lesssss! Interior decor was very modern and cute. Price is on the higher side for the neighborhood (pho and noodle soups in the area are $11-14) but definitely the better japanese ramen compared to the spots nearby that also serve bubble tea, fried chicken and other things. We got the miso ramen, the broth could have been richer but overall not bad. Won’t knock them for it though since it’s their soft opening and I’m sure they’re still figuring things out. Will definitely come back for beer and ramen regularly.

I got black garlic tonkatsu and have the spicy paste on the side. Black garlic gave deep smokey and garlic flavor Tonkatsu is clean and light Combined is deep umami flavor highly recommended. The spicy paste alone is overwhelming, but if you took a small amount and gradually add it to the broth according to your taste, it changes the tonkatsu flavor to more thicker and adds acidity to it. Very good if you like thicker broth! Noodles are firm and captures the flavor of the broth. Great place to try and could be the better spot around elmhurst area

The marinated egg could be more gooey, and also the topping needs some nori maybe, it is not as much as other places, but the star of the show is the broth.

Kaarage chicken as appetizer is good breading, the chicken could be juicier, some piece is great, some is a bit dry

Overall great experience and it’s by my house,...

This is such a chill, casual spot to have lunch/dinner with a friend or with family :)) Service was excellent, our waitress was so attentive and sweet. The ramen was amazing as well, for the price and what you’re getting it’s a great deal and they also give you options to add more for like $1-$3 more. The atmosphere is such a vibe when you eat here. My boyfriend and I tried their fried squid legs and it tasted great. 10/10 thai iced tea. They also have some specials here and there, this time it was the steak ramen and a thai dish. I wish I tried the steak ramen though, it looked so good and for only $18 !!! We’ll be coming back again to try the rest of their menu. Support this local spot if you can, the owners are...
