Hector's Barber Shop — Local services in New York

Barber did not follow instructions, when i was sat on his chair, I asked for an undercut with a fade, and that i wanted to keep the length in the top front and shorten to 1in as it goes towards the top back. Just incase he didnt know what an undercut was, i also told him i didnt want the sides blended in with the top. I walked in with about 4in on top and 1in on sides, hadnt gotten a cut in 2 months or so. The fade turned out fine, i told him i didnt want to show skin, so a 1 to a 2 should be good. However he started to give me a shape up, even though i didnt mention wanting one, and he didnt ask how i wanted it. When he was done with the shape up, i noticed he had cut so much that he RAISED the arch that connects to my sideburns. So now when my hair is growing, the chunk he shaved off is gonna look hideous. To top if all off, he ended up blending the sides of my hair with the top even though i asked him not to at the very start. And it wasnt even blended well. Needed a haircut while on vacation day after thanksgiving in Brooklyn . Being my first time in NY I was a little hesitant on where to go but I found hectors which was walking distance from my hotel (brooklyn broadway) and I’ve got to say that it’s one of the best haircuts I’ve ever received in my life . Shop is very clean and comfortable and in a great location close to many other little shops . Would highly recommend this place to any men in need...

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The owner, Hector, just finished cutting a man's head. He then called my dad. Hector placed that same dirty rag on my dad's head/face with another customer's blood on it!
