Hey Healthy Nail — Local services in New York

Left is inspo pic, middle two pics is what I did and damage, and right pic is what they did. I did my nails with dip and gel the night before heading to New York for a conference. Unfortunately I ran out of product and knew my nails would possibly crack under unintentional pressure. Well, one developed a thin crack and I didn’t want to risk them breaking and me looking crazy while ministering so I looked for the closest nail salon to where I was at the time. I asked if could send a picture to see if they could do the same design but the colors didn’t have to be the same. They allowed me to send a picture reference, said they could do it & confirmed immediate availability. They took their time which I appreciated and they didn’t hurt me at all. I got a refill of dip and then gel added for the design. I ended up liking the colors after the redo better than my attempt because it was more transparent and nude to go with my attire. While this was nice clean quite space and good service the price was outrages. I paid way more than I should've for a basic medi pedi for both me and my mom. The gel polish I got on my nails started to chip after two days which was weird. The polish also messed up my nails. I went in with hard healthy nails but the gel polish made them soft and brittle, I guess the polish didnt work with my nails but I've never experienced that before. Sadly I will not be returning. Update: this is not slander it is just my opinion. While the price at the end was 173 the tip made it 220. And basically you still charged me for a gel manicure when it was switched. Maybe you shouldn't be so rude when it's just an opinion. Many other people like your spot it just wasn't for me and I can say that. Also nothing was ever stated of fixing chipped nails and theres nothing stating that both a mani and pedi are 60 its 80. So Please take step back and...

This was the first mani/pedi I've gotten in a long time because I found I'd go to salons and come home thinking it wasn't much better than what I could do at home so it never felt worth the money, but coming here reminded me of how quality work can transform your nails and skin around them. Both of the professionals working on my nails paid WONDERFUL attention to detail, took their time with me, and were beyond accommodating and also just very sweet! The environment is also very calm, clean, and homey. Plenty of nail colors, stickers, and gems to choose from. I will be coming here and only here to get my nails done again. It was a lovely, relaxing, and quality experience for a reasonable price, especially considering the time taken. I have drier hands that I work with a lot and therefore tough cuticles and short nails, but now my skin feels baby smooth and my nails look so cute even though they were so teeny!...
