HUNT — Local services in New York

I found Lucas 3 years ago and booked him for our charity auction. It was an expense for us but we learned at a fundraising conference that a good auctioneer can make or break your event. We were hoping for the former with Lucas and were not disappointed. Our typical cash ask would make us about $7000. In Lucas’ first year with us, he raised over $15,000! We hired him for another auction event we were doing and the numbers just kept going up. This September (2019), we raised over $28,000! That was definitely a record for us. Lucas has a grace about him that people are immediately drawn to. He didn’t know that much about us or our cause (autism) but he was able to speak from the heart and so eloquently about our families and the difference people could make by making a donation or purchasing an auction item.
