I would love to give you "- 5 stars". A 9 am appointment turned into a 9:45 am appointment because the "inhumane being" at 3-10 kicked us all out to go back 15 minutes later. Same with all "inhumane beings" downstairs yelling at everybody by saying we had to leave building. There were people who found the way to stay but I "was obedient". I followed protocols all over again, reached the office, got the ticket, they called me after a while, rough time with the female "officer", told me to wait and after a long while, she denied my travel permit because I was filing at the wrong spot and she said that my father was taken care of by my aunties after his heart attack and stroke, so, not an emergency. Really??? I freaked out! More than 22 years without seeing my father! Not my fault! Officer Maynard gave me the appointment at 26 Federal Plaza. And on top of this, the "inhumane" Hispanic being outside the building on the employees entrance and exit for all people yelled at us bu saying to leave, we were outside on the sidewalk, by the steps, and he grabbed my arm while I was calling USCIS to talk to an officer through info pass, I yelled "don't touch me!!!..." and I cursed him out then I knew he was Hispanic and we both kept going in English and Spanish. What the f...! Begging for a travel permit and being treated like this!!! Mr. Mayorkas, you have a serious problem at your agency and I am a "loyal contributor" to your paychecks because I have been paying for my taxes despite being a holder lf a restricted category for over 20 years!!! My father is 82 already, I must file by mail paying $575 plus biometrics fees and wait while being comfortably seated to receive a "yes" or "no" from you. This is a joke!!! I don't want to start cursing...

Read moreI am pleasantly surprised about this place, i still haven't recieved my decision yet, so this is purely on my experience. The line outside can get very long but it goes by in seconds, security guards are quick, a little harsh but they get the job done. Shoes off jackets off everything in a basket and put your own basket away. No matter how long the line is, you will be inside in less than 5 minutes. My appointment was at 10:45 and they didn't let me in until 10:30,There are no seating areas, you're not allowed to sit on the floor or stairs, they do have bathrooms so it's a plus, cafeteria is closed so don't get there an hour before or you'll be tired. I was in my interview by 11 and out by 11:30 (wait times may vary depending on what type of appointment you have). Immigration officer with hand wrapped on the 7th floor was the best, so kind and made me feel comfortable i honestly can't explain how relieved i was when i saw how nice she was. Thank you for such an...
