Came here as a guest to a naturalization ceremony. The ladies on the third floor were nice and helpful. The rest was an awful experience. The security guards yell at you but at the same time aren’t clear about any kind of direction. There is absolutely NO ONE to direct you to where you need to go after security.
They make refugees and those seeking help wait outside in the cold for hours (haven’t they already gone through enough??). I don’t blame others for hating on Americans if this is the experience you get when you deal with the US government. It’s shocking that as a citizen and taxpayer you get treated poorly (but at least I can complain to my reps) but it’s even more infuriating as an American with values seeing others treated poorly - especially those who don’t always have the voice to speak...

Not exactly the priorities here. But if you’re in the market for an institution that excels at making life harder for people who’ve done nothing wrong, look no further. Five stars for consistency in upholding time-honored traditions of bureaucracy...
