I took my Movado watch in for repair to Kay Jewelers in Kings Plaza back in July 2024. After weeks of waiting, I called to check on the status and was told it was still out for repair and should arrive back in their shop the week of October 12. However, when I called today, I was informed that I should have been contacted to approve the estimate for the repair. After 20 days of waiting, they said my watch would be returned to the repair shop.
When I requested to speak to a supervisor, I discovered that my watch had never been sent back for repair and was still in their possession at the Kings Plaza store. They offered me a discount and mentioned they could finally send it out for repair, but it would take yet another month or so.
This experience has been nothing short of frustrating, and I am extremely disappointed with the customer service provided. It’s unacceptable to be left in the dark for so long and to receive inconsistent information. I expected much better from a reputable store like Kay Jewelers. I no longer have any trust in utilizing their service nirvshoukd anyone else.

Read moreI guess I should really thank them because I was going to buy a piece of jewelry that I was on the fence about buying but have my money ready to pay for it, they had other customers which I understood. I didn't mind waiting until I noticed both employees were cleaning jewelry when it could have been done but just the one employee and have the other handle the customers. It seemed like it was never going to end as one was cleaning and one was holding a tray of dirty jewelry to clean which they could have put it on the counter and help myself and other customers who were waiting. After waiting a while and knowing that it's going to take longer as it were three more Rings he had to hold I just hand it back the bracelet and said I'd be back but I decided against it being I wasn't respected as a customer. But thanks for saving me the money. I think the staff needs to be trained better that one serves customers while the other one handles things such as jewelry cleaning you don't need two people to clean jewelry as he was just standing there holding a tray of dirty jewelry when he could have been waiting on the other customers. Read moreI had a good experience when I purchased my $1200 ring with Janice at the Kings Plaza location. She also helped me pick out a mom and daughter pendants. When I went to pick the pendants (totalling $195.95), they did not come with chains. I held onto it for almost a month and decided I wanted to return them. I went to the store today and the employees along with the manager that was on site made me feel uncomfortable by just starting at me and laughed when I left all because I was returning. Customers have a right to return, especially if they changed their mind about a merchandise they longer want. Let's get this straight, I did not return it because i can't afford it. I returned it because i no longer want it. They NEVER asked why i was returning. They just asked if i wanted to exchange. I don't see why they would get offended by that. Thanks but no thanks I will not be returning here. I also gave them a bad score on the survey....
