I met Sandra & Julian (and their amazing kids) at Artists & Fleas in Williamsburg. Having gone more than a year without being able to wear my engagement ring, I finally gathered the nerve to ask about having it fixed.

My Husband got my ring while visiting my family abroad & went with my now deceased Uncle to pick it out. Needless to say, it holds tremendous sentimental value. I wore it religiously for years and that took its toll on the Emerald. By the time I stopped wearing it, it had chipped in two places. I was so afraid of letting anyone touch it that it mostly sat in hiding and I only wore it on very special occasions, despite its wear and tear.

Sandra advised me of my options. The idea of filing down the stone made me very uncomfortable so I thought about it for a while. Sandra was patient enough to repeat herself on more than one occasion about process and pricing. By the time I made my decision to move forward, I’m sure we were only a few months shy of a year since we first met. I could have never imagined the outcome.

Not only did the repair end up being ridiculously economical, the end result is STUNNING. And yes, I may be biased bc it’s my very special engagement ring but STILL. lol

My partner and I were lucky enough to stumble upon Keila in Williamsburg as we searched local jewelry stores for an engagement ring that suited us. Sandra welcomed us in, listened to our description of our search so far, and quickly invited us into the design process and be partners in creating the exact ring we were imagining!

Sandra worked with us in person and over text to create a design, sourced different stones for us to choose from, and let us see wax molds of slight variations of the design to give us multiple opportunities for feedback and adjustments.

In the end we got exactly what we wanted, and the process was only a few weeks from start to finish! Sandra and her husband were an utter pleasure to work with, and were friendly and helpful every time we saw them. I've already been back for resizing, which was another seamless, pleasant, quick experience.
