I love this place. I discovered it after another spot closed, and I wish I found it earlier. One of the best massage and acupuncture parlors for the price. I live in Tribeca and come here, because I prefer it over other places now.
They are set up like a day-to-day massage spot vs a fancy “spa event”. You can call in a few hours before you want to go or try your luck walking in, and you’re usually served quickly. And, this place is about 2x more clean and organized than some other places you find in Chinatown/East Vilalge, where you are separated by curtains only, etc. Keisy has mini rooms with doors, floors are visibly mopped and you just feel a little more safe.
I always ask for very strong massages, which is what I need, as I run a lot. They check up on you frequently on the pressure in case. Most of the masseuses (men and women) give great deep massages. There are a couple that don’t go hard, if you don’t want strong - but the key is speaking to the front desk when you come in or call in. You have to explain what you are looking for, so they can try to match you. It’s a little easier to do this with the front, as not everyone is fluent in English. When you don’t communicate beforehand, you may get someone who doesn’t match your style, and even though it’s good, there may be others you’ll fit best with.
Here’s what I mean: the masseuses have different techniques, such as: energetic or slow, pressing in between muscles/pressure points or all over relaxation, using tiger balm or oil etc. I found my preferred people after a couple times.
I go for the 90-minute, which runs currently $75 plus tip. I leave happy, and I can feel a little sore (in a good way). Drink a lot of water the rest of the day, and I feel great the next day or so.
Finally, I sometimes hear a lot of people come in for acupuncture and advice on areas of their body/issue they can’t seem to get fixed in other ways. I believe there’s a few people there that listen and try to find ways to support through acupuncture, massage and sometimes suggesting certain teas and foods that might help.
Give it a try if you want harder, more...

Great place to get a massage and foot rub. The location is very easy to find and the facility is just one flight up some stairs on top of a Japanese restaurant.
I was greeted by one of the sweetest managers in the front. Carmen who was very patient and professional asked if I had any health or restrictions before she referred me to my masseuse Shirley.
To get best results, you will be asked to leave almost nothing on except you underwear. If you are shy about your body, don't worry, the rooms are very private and the staff is very professional about everything.
During my table Shiatsu massage, I laid face down and a thin cloth was spread across, covering my body and legs . Shirley worked her magic throughout my body and legs. She applied the right amount of pressure and strength. Occasionally she would ask if the strength level is okay and if I was comfortable, very accommodating and courteous. When it was time to massage my shoulders, she would use her hands to come into full contact with my skin instead of through the thin cloth. Light lotion would be applied to make the friction and pressure applied evenly and smoothly across my shoulders. FELT SO GREAT. Towards the end of the massage you will be asked to flipped over and to be worked on your legs, calves and foot before it all comes to an end.
After your relaxing state of mind, get dressed and ready to go, you are offered some water. It is recommended to drink some water to help aid you with the process after your massage session.
1 hour massage will run you about $45. Credit card accepted! The facilities are very clean and organized. The rooms are a bit tight, but you will be lying down most of the time anyways, so it didn't really matter how big the rooms were. Make an appointment before going, because it can get pretty busy during peak relaxation times (after work,...
Read moreTHE WORST MASSAGE OF MY LIFE!!!! I went to Keisy today and left angry, with a half-hearted massage, and in PAIN. I received ELBOW DIGS in my back over a sheet to the point were I cried for 10 mins when I got home from not being able to lay down to sleep. She spent way to much time massaging/elbowing my butt. She pressed hard repeatedly down the center of my spine, which is a big no for anyone who has ever given a massage, she (Amy) could have seriously hurt me. Although it was supposed to be a full body massage, she only elbowed me in the back, pushed on my shoulders and legs like she was rocking me instead of massaging me. She never massaged my arms, calves, or feet, and didnt care to even touch my skin until I asked. Mind you, nothing is wrong with my beautiful black skin...maybe it was because I was black...who knows! I will never go back, I'm traumatized, and they need to train their employees or close. P.s. when a customer looks like she wants to cry from a service, you should do more than take her money and tell her to have a nice day. I'm just a stressed out newbie entrepreneur who finally left the house after burning out on projects who wanted a brief moment to herself and instead left more stressed out then when...
