We used to go there as it was convenient just close to our home. Lately a few products we bought were expired. I made them notice - showed them more expired bread in the aisle - and they acted like they barely give a damn. Asking me for the ticket but they knew me I was coming every single week, even more! No gesture, no discount ever. Today I almost fed my baby with an expired apple sauce, it was looking and smelling so bad !!!

Love Key Food Supermarket on Fred D Boulevard in Harlem. The staff is courteous and personable and there's rarely a time when they don't have an item I need in stock but I always get stuck behind the lady who is playing 3,936 Numbers at the Lotto counter

Decent sized supermarket. Well stocked and quite aesthetically pleasing - just see the pictures

I have been shopping at this keyfood since they open a few years ago and everything for the most part has been good, but lately over the last couple of months when I have purchased meat there the meat was spoiled. Last month I purchased some pork chops and they were spoiled, couldn't return them because I had thrown out the receipt and I bought some chicken thighs a few weeks later same thing, again I wasn't able to return them because I had thrown away the receipt. I had been going to another store further away from me because I was afraid to buy the meat from this keyfood. I am a senior on a fixed income and it's kind of difficult getting around so going to this keyfood was more convenient for me. This morning I wanted to make pork chop and keyfood had them on sale so I said I will give them one more try. When I got home and was getting ready to wash and season the meat what do you think happened? I opened the package and was hit in the face with a horrible smell. I am so disappointed, this keyfood happens to be In Harlem , I should be able to go into a supermarket and feel confident that what I am bringing home is fresh for my family. Thankfully this time I did save the receipt and I will not be buying...

I only shop here if I cant get to Whole Foods or Trader Joes. This place of business does not treat black patrons equally..Ive noticed as soon as a person of color enters the store, the guard at the door runs to the front and then continues to follow that individual around until they pay and exit. Ive also witnessed a black elderly woman getting so upset that she raised her voice in the store. It is NEVER ok as another race owning a business to racially profile a consumer based on ANY negative event that has transpired from one race. Im not sure if the employees are latinos, hispanic or spanish but Ive frequent majority of those countries and they dont racially profile….you all come to AMERICA and open a business in OUR neighborhoods, take our money and have the nerve to profile us!!! Thats NOT the way things work and I’m at the point of calling the state and other organizations to call your business out for how POCs...

Avoid this key food at all cost. Sent my brother here to buy bottle water , he was returning bottles as well . We are a house hold that recycles . The gentleman at the door treated him so poorly, and was extremely rude . Had him wait over 30 mins to return the bottles so he ended up going somewhere else , only to return and have to purchase more water . Pure waste of his time . When entering store man at the door told him wait outside, someone is coming. No one ever came . When he reentered to remind the the man , the man said your just going to have to wait . This is how you treat your customers??? Disgusting. Usually come here because i live local but wont be back . Tell your employees to treat all people with respect . Had i know he had this experience i would have told him to go elsewhere . I rather pay more than give them a dime of my...
