Kith and Kin Household Staffing Agency — Local services in New York

Kith and Kin was on my radar for months before I relocated to NYC, due mostly to their blog being so invaluable to my search for the right place to relocate to as an experienced nanny/family assistant. I chose NYC in part BECAUSE of Kith and Kin and their philosophy.

Once I moved to NYC I was signed on with several agencies and I also set up many interviews/trials independently. I have to say every agency experience pales in comparison to my experience with Christa/Kith and Kin. She really knows what she is doing. She knows how to match nannies with families for the absolute best chance of the working relationship having longevity, respect, and clarity. I could not have found the wonderful position I have now without her.

Besides being wonderfully supportive and intuitive, Christa also works extremely hard; she responded to every message I sent her within hours, sent me more potential families than any other agencies (unless you count the agencies flooding me with job offers for jobs I was totally unsuitable for, like Mandarin speaking tutor in Connecticut), and she followed up with me after every interview/trial immediately.

All in all, this agency is the one you need. Thorugh, reliable, communicative, and experienced. I'd never go elsewhere...
