KW Supermarket — Local services in New York

UPDATE: I’m still shopping at this place regularly. Since I moved to the neighborhood two years ago they have made many updates/upgrades to the store. There’s now an area to buy fresh kimichi and also a brand new pharmacy. Whenever I visit I see them working hard on something new. The store is always immaculate and clean. They have also expanded their meat selection. I realized things were probably slower when I wrote my first review during the pandemic. Last week I went in and the lady at the register gave me a sample pack of ramen noodles. They are super kind. . . .

Original Review: I really liked this place. I’ve been popping in frequently to grab some staple items or produce.The produce is always fresh and the staff is very friendly. I really enjoy Giving my business to a place that’s kind and courteous. I was really surprised at some of the negative reviews because that was not my experience. The only thing I wish was that there were more fresh beef products. The last time I went there was only one package of steaks. I’m not a pork eater so the fresh meat was limited for me. However I’ll still shop there because it’s close And the people are warm. I should also mention that it’s never crowded and I’ve never experienced a line...

Regretfully, despite its close location, I refuse to shop here any longer. They've incorrectly labeled their shelf prices, which you only find out when they charge you more at the register. Despite acknowledging their error, they've refused to honor the shelf price, which they have to, according to NY State law (§ 20-708.1. e/ Item Pricing)....
