Läderach — Local services in New York

If you've read my previous review on Laderach, you will know I visited their 5th Avenue location and love their chocolate. This review is no different. The staff over there are wonderful. They are quick to assist you in your needs of fresh chocolate or pralines, and/or other gift ideas/goodies. The store design is sleek and modern, and kept clean, showing signs of great care. Overall, an experience worth cherishing if it is your first time, or a good quick stop if you need chocolate and are familiar with the brand. Highly underrated of the three Manhattan...

Usually don't write reviews and want to separate the quality vs. the experience at this store. Quality wise this is delicious chocolate, I've had it several times and it's great.

Service wise: I don't want to be dramatic as it's only chocolate, but: Went into the store with my two kids and wasn't even looked at or acknowledged by any of the 3 staff that were there. I asked a question to someone and was curtly responded to. There was nobody else in the store and they were talking amongst themselves the entire time. Wasn't even offered a piece from the sample tray one of the employees was holding, I mean cmon?! Left without buying a thing. Anyway, just hope that they can be a bit more attentive...

Love anything and everything dark. Dark Chocolate with nuts. Dark Frisch Schoggi sticks. Dark Pralines. Dark pistachio. Excellent quality and nice variety. Great location in Midtown West. What sets this store apart is the customer service. From the young Man this morning who greeted me with a smile as I walked in and asked if I needed help. And Trish tonight who was so pleasant and accommodating. This is key to sales success. I hope the crew gets recognized and rewarded for this. Truly wonderful and...
