Initially customer service was great but Once I purchased the bag, it was the WORST unprofessional customer service I have received. When I initially came in the store the associates and everyone was very friendly nice and helpful. I was confused as to which bag to buy and there was a price difference of $800 between the two. The lady very easily said "why don't you just purchase both take them home to show your husband and decide" as long as they are not used you can bring back within 30 days with receipt. I made sure many times before leaving the store this would not be a problem as i was confused, they assured me it would be no problem. Although I lived 1 hour away, i returned within the same week and decided to keep the more expensive bag but told them I would like to pay my home %6 tax versus %8.9 and was told this could only happen if i were to return and repurchase the bag and have it ordered to my home address. So grudgingly i said ok. They took both bags back after thoroughly checking them. Then when my bag was delivered to my home address the bag that i received seem worn down, not as it were used but as if it were the showcase piece. I immediately called LV customer service 2-3 times and each time was put on hold and tried contacting the store but no response. The associate that i dealth with did text me back with vague platonic msgs but Never returned my call even after i requested. When i called LV I even had someone use a accusatory tone of voice with me . I clearly said I would Not purchase $5000 worth of handbags if i was to use any of them to just return them and I would like to receive one in perfect condition. This bag looks like it is not in pristine condition. Anyways I spent another week trying to contact their manager WHO NEVER even returned my calls text or voicemail. I still had this bag i was not happy with and NO ONE even acknowledged me except for saying they had cameras in the store and they assure it was the same new bag that was shipped to me. I had given this store more than 5 days notice to have a polo shipped from the store on Rodeo Drive to New York for my birthday and was told I would receive a confirmation call when the shirt had arrived in New York. After 4 days of not hearing anything I decided to give the client care people a call and get a status update. I was informed that the shirt had not been transferred at this point and was apologized to and then was informed they would overnight the shirt and guaranteed it would arrive in New York in time for my party. When I arrived on my birthday to pick it up so I would have it ready for my 100+ people party I had asked the sales associate who was assisting me to go get it in the back. After 10-15 minutes of waiting and me overhearing her conversation I could tell there was a sign of distress. After waiting for her to search the entire store including the basement, she informed me that the polo had not arrived nor was it even in transit. She had spoke to her manager who was of absolutely no help whatsoever and never came out of hiding to speak to me in person and he did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. I then called the client care phone number because they are the ones who orchestrated the transfer. At this point I was EXTREMELY uncomfortable because no one in the store was helping me and I could tell they were gossiping. After sometime I was connected to a client care representative who apologized greatly to me and told me she would see the transfer through herself (this past Saturday) and told me someone would contact me on Monday from the Rodeo Store and confirm the transfer. It is now Thursday and nobody from Louis Vuitton has reached out to me or followed up with me. For a luxury brand who I have been a loyal client to this kind of service is completely unacceptable. Read moreI had an unpleasant experience at this Louis Vuitton in Saks Fifth! I called the store the day before inquiring about a bag I wanted. The person on the phone said it will be available the next day. I went with my fiance after work the next day and I was greeted by an SA, but he never asked if needed help? I then tried to wait for somone else to assist me but it seemed that they had little staff and the man who greeted me wasnt doing anything. I asked if he can help me get the bag I wanted, he immediately said that its not in stock and it has been sold, he wanted me to go to the other LV store which was closing soon! After I said that someone told me there was one in the store he checked on the computer for the inventory. The computer indicated that there was one and he insisted the computer was wrong. Fortunately his coworker pulled out the bag and I was ready to buy. As I was purchasing the item with my Saks Fifth card for the points, there was a problem with it. This SA quickly got an attitude and after fixing the problem he was speaking to me in a obnoxious tone; as if I'm wasting his time and probably wont be able to pay for this item. I then payed for the item with no hassel and he was rushing me out of there, slapping down my card on the table after swiping it and made me sign so fast I dont even know which receipt I even took. This rediculous behavior is unaaceptable, he didnt even ask me if I needed anything else! I'm not the person to tolerate this kind treatment unless I'm in the fish market! I called in my complain and they took it to considerstion, however no one should treated like this!
