There are 2 things I like the most in this world: Ice Cream and making people jealous on Instagram, and the Magnum popup is able to fulfill both in one fell swoop. Although the line can snake back and forth through the store and the price can reach an eye-watering $8 for a bar, it is worth it to watch a work of edible art being created right before your eyes (then devoured right after). After you chose a flavor ice cream, you get to select 3 toppings to put on the bar, then watch as it is created right in front of your eyes. Employees coat the bar with dark, milk or white chocolate then cover it with your chosen toppings and give you a sweet treat that photographs better than the Red Capet on Oscars night. To that point, right to the right of the counter, the store has put together a few photo boxes, backlit and set up to get the perfect insta-worthy photo to make everyone green with envy.

Thank you Ashley of Magnum for making my rainbow ice cream dreams come true! She hooked it up. I've been wanting this bar for the past year and when pride month started I've been stalking the pop up to try and get this for the past few weeks with no luck. I come all the way out from Long Island so it's hard to try and catch this(yes I know I'm crazy for ice cream). Unfortunately the rainbow bar is only available this week til Sunday and this was the only day I could make it. The line was our the door down the block and I had to come back two times to try and get this bc of appointments I had throughout the day. But Ashley was so sweet and came through so I could experience this before it's gone until next year! This place is for everyone who loves ice cream!!!! It's a pop up shop so it's only here for the summer and yesterday was just a perfect day for us to visit on the mist of a heatwave!!!! The line can be long but they move very fast!!!! We waited about 10 minutes which was great especially in NYC for something so trendy as this. You have the option of chocolate or vanilla ice cream with up to three toppings the ice cream cost $7 maybe a lot but I felt it was worth it since I got to basically make my own. I tried both I got the chocolate dipped in white chocolate and I got the vanilla dipped in milk chocolate. I had 3 different toppings on each which where coconut, almonds, marshmallow, fruity pebbles, chocolate sprinkle and gold flakes. I will definitely try to go back one more time before...
