Slacking on that new year slay you promised to commit to for 2017? No need to fear, the real resolutions begin two weeks after this new year!

I stumbled into this Mac store on my way to Sephora (I know, the enemy) however, divine intervention rerouted me to my destiny - the best experience a girl could ask for on an unintentional #transformationtuesday.

The music, the look and the overall mac brand lured me in like sirens on a ship and i happily sashed my way in, for what I believe would be a quick moment in which I'd leave with just an eyebrow pencil.

Then, Sharon (a fellow gemini), introduced herself to me and about five minutes later I'm luxuriating under showgirl lights and the security of knowing she got me. She spritzed, lipped and dipped me in all things magic. Honey, I left with a beautiful ombre blue lips, arched brows, blush, a flick of the wrist highlight and light but full coverage makeup matched to perfect. Long story short, she slayed!

Sharon accentuated my features in all the ways that made me feel like Bad Boy royalty and patron saint Lil K.I.M royalty. She was fierce!! I was later introduced to the manage who was full of energy and light as well.

I cannot wait to come back and spend my coins. Relaxation, good conversation and great recommendations/makeup, what more can a girl ask for?

I left with an eyebrow pencil, two matte lipsticks, mascara and blush. And I don't regret it one bit.

Rachel B is a great makeup artist but an even more knowledgeable consultant. I had done a makeup service where she explained each step of the process which I really appreciated. She was able to achieve the look I was going for easily. When I came back to do exchanges on a couple of the products I purchased during our service, she was more than willing to spend time with me to talk about which eye shadows look best together, how to correctly build up product, and which brushes to use for various things.

I bought some items from the store and when I saw a promotion for the 25% off, I called MAC to see if I could get a price adjustment. They said yes, as long as I bring my receipt in. I brought my receipt and was told they couldn't do the price adjustment because I needed to being the items with me. I called MAC again and they said that I wouldn't be able to do the price adjustment since I bought the items before the promotion began. Really and truly, someone is telling me the wrong information.
