I got my makeup done yesterday at the MAC store in Harlem and before you think I’m just handing out good reviews, hear me out! This was my second time getting my makeup done at this location, and let me tell you, it’s not easy to get an appointment here. It’s always booked way more than other locations, and now I fully understand why. I was schooled by the makeup artist herself on why this spot stays so busy. It’s simple: it’s Harlem where the culture is rich, the girls are fly, and your face has to match your fit. Harlem is all about style, confidence, and that one-of-a-kind swag. If you know, you know! Now let’s talk about the artist who did my makeup. She was dope with a fly aura that instantly made me feel comfortable. I barely had to say anything; I told her what I wanted, and she just got it. The result? Flawless. While she worked, she broke down every product she used and shared tips on how to apply them. I bought almost all of them because that’s the beauty of the service: get your makeup done and leave with everything you need to recreate the look. Worth it again! If you’re in Harlem and want your face to match your vibe, book...
Read moreThis is the worst Mac store I have ever been too guys. I went here on 4 seperate ocassions as I shop in this area frequently. The workers are focused on makeovers rather then helping customers who are just there to purchase. On all 4 ocassions I went in to purchase items and literally was ignored the first time. 2nd visit when I reach the register girl walks off to do someones makeup and just left me standing there. I litterly looked around waiting for someone to ring me at the register for like 15-25 mins and those girls did not care. I have seen some bad customer service in my day guys but nothing ever like this. On the last ocassion I went still giving it another chance went to purchase some lipsticks and again at the register girl books a makeup makeover ahead of me in line and cashier walks off and im literally standing there with 3 other woman on line for like 20 min we all walked out and were completly shocked at the customer service we were outside for like 10 min just ranting and shocked at how bad this customer service is at this location. Huge dissapointment. Never will shop there again. Now i look at that store in...
Read moreI went to MAC to exchange a foundation. Previously, a MAC makeup artist recommended the incorrect color. No biggie , because I have 30 days to return or exchange a product. First of all, the security person followed protocol. He, made sure he didn’t allow too many people in the store because of safety. When I entered the store , I was greeted by a friendly, pretty, smiley person name Lyric. She was the only person working that afternoon. Perhaps the other makeup artist were on a break. Lyric was helping a customer. She told me she will be right with me. She didn’t complain and say she was alone , nor did she ignore me. She acknowledged me and let me browse. When another customer came into the store. She was hospitable as well. She kept her composure when more customers where allowed in to the store. After she finished with the client. She thank me for my patience. She didn’t rush me and she was thorough in answering my questions. I finally have the correct foundation match. I’m very pleased with the service Lyric provided ; and I’m happy with my foundation match. Thank you Lyric. Keep up the excellent...
