I booked an appointment with them over the phone a month ago. I spent close to 30 minutes on the phone with them giving them all my insurance information. I asked the receptionist multiple times if they take my insurance, she kept assuring me that they do. Flash forward to today–the day before my appointment–I receive a call from them telling me that my insurance is out of network and I'd have to pay over $300 out of pocket if I want to keep the appointment. I was shocked. I had this appointment in my calendar for a month. She prescribed three very silly, very expensive creams that I had zero intention of filling, insisting on sending the scripts to the practice’s preferred pharmacy instead of my own. I left without any answers but with renewed frustration at the specialty. If you can’t do more for your patients than an aesthetician would do, be embarrassed to call yourself...
