I've been in Manhattan Park for almost a year. I moved to NYC when I booked a Broadway show, and was still touring with that show when I had to figure out where to live. I was going to have to move out there very quickly with little time to look at places. My sister also lives in Manhattan Park and I knew it was nice, so the leasing office worked with her to look at available apartments and had me FaceTime in to see them. I was able to find a place without ever being there in person and they were incredibly understanding of my circumstances. They also agreed to give her both sets of my keys before I got there so I could have furniture delivered and internet set up before I moved in. Fast forward to October 2020: Broadway has been shut down since March so I've been unemployed. I left the city and came back to my house in Chicago, but I'm still paying my NYC rent every month. I got the email that my lease was up for renewal, and even though they were offering incentives to renew, I still took a chance and called the leasing office to see if I could stay in my current apartment for a lower price in addition to the offered incentives. I talked to Danielle on the phone for about 20 minutes and she is absolutely incredible. She had already talked to a rental agent about me because she'd heard about my show and before I could even ask, she was asking if there was anything they could do to help me. She understood my predicament, and worked with me to find a new rate for my apartment on top of the incentives Manhattan Park is currently offering. I am beyond grateful for her help, compassion, and willingness to work with me amidst this weird time we're living in.

Additionally, I just can't say enough great things about Manhattan Park in general and the people who work there. I hadn't even lived there for a month before all the doormen knew my name as well as my dog's name. They've also checked on my apartment for me and collected any extra mail that accumulated while I've been gone. I love Manhattan Park, I love Roosevelt Island. I hope to stay there for quite a while, and if I ever do upgrade I'd love to...

I have been living at Manhattan Park for over 12 years. Both my girls were born while living here. We came to Roosevelt Island, to have more space, and fell in love with the Community both in our building, and surrounding area. I like to always focus on the positives, and the memories made here are priceless! My uncle and aunt were living in Manhattan Park (same building as me) for over 30 years! They were the first tenants in Manhattan Park, and spoke very highly of it. The staff is lovely. Danielle and Brian have been so supportive on all our needs. I began teaching Yoga and Sculpt for their residents as a building amenity, and this has given me the opportunity to create very special friends and connections within the community. The Manhattan Park Pool is our haven in the late Spring to early Fall! It's very family oriented and we tend to stay there for the entire day on the weekends! It's our Hamptons for us city folk! We grill, and socialize with all residents on the island. The Yoga Classes outside creates a very special community, and must have one of the best views, as we are on the grass in front of the River facing Manhattan! The sunsets are breathtaking! You are close to the parking garage, bridge, supermarket, a courtyard park, Outdoor Pool and soccer fields! Maintenance and Concierge are some of the nicest people, and are always always accommodating. We think of Manhattan Park, and Roosevelt Island as our oasis 15 minutes away...

My family and I have lived on Roosevelt Island for 13 years and moved into Manhattan Park over a year ago. We needed a larger apartment for our family and looked at majority of the buildings on RI. We are very happy that we chose Manhattan Park! Remy was our leasing agent and he was professional, kind, and truly a pleasure to work with. He found us an apartment that fit our family needs and the apt and building/staff have exceeded our expectations. Edgar from maintenance has been extremely attentive with any minor issues we have had and is always professional and friendly. The doorman staff (really all of the staff) already feel like family and their system with packages has been great—they have an advanced tracking process and we receive an immediate email when the package arrives. The amenities have been perfect for my children- two playgrounds, lots of grass area, a playroom, and the pool! We spend many summer days at the pool (have been for years) and it makes for a convenient, fun day where we have made so many great memories with special friends. The community as well as the schools on the island are extremely special and Roosevelt Island really has been one of NY’s best kept secret 😊 (and you can't...

I recently leased an apartment at Manhattan Park and I can't help but rave about how wonderful the process was, from the initial visit, to the lease process, to moving in. Liz, my lease agent and her colleague Remy went out of their way to be helpful in answering my questions and completing the lease process. I have found the building management team to be quite efficient and helpful as well. I had three minor issues that needed to be attended to and they were taken care of on the same day. I had an issue with heating in one of the bedrooms. The building maintenance person was kind to offer me a temporary room heater while he ordered the necessary part. He was prompt in returning to complete the work as soon as he had the parts in hand. The front desk people are also quite accommodating and friendly. The day I moved in the concierge offered me the use of his laundry card while I waited to get my own. The residents are very friendly and dispel the myth of the "rude New Yorker." Just this morning someone I shared an elevator with offered me a free bagel! Oh yeah, forgot . . . the city views are spectacular! I'm glad I live in Manhattan Park.

This’ll be happening when you live here. They send workers at 6am in the early morning and start working. It’s 4-days construction if you’re lucky. They pause work on Saturday and Sunday, so you’re gonna live in this mess more likely for 6 days. I said I’ve never agreed about this but they said I already signed agreement when I was signing my lease. So they really said “you didn’t buy the unit”. There’s no compensation about this mess of course. Besides this occasion, you’re also going to hear some construction noise all year around from this apartment. I think all people who trying to move in has to know about this. Also you’re not allowed to check the electrical panel of your place, so you have to pay utilities they charge. I live in two bedrooms unit and once they charged $450 for this January or February. So I asked them how this was charged like too much and the guy in charge of the management said it’s normal.
