Bread & Butter (579 Main Street) — Restaurant in New York

These are some of the nicest, kindest people you will ever meet. So inviting and a great experience all around. We order daily from here, as I am under the weather these days and they always strive to make things wonderful. It's not just your average deli with nice people, it is the neighborhood store that I look forward to going into and hearing a chorus of "hi Ayesha" it feels like home. Just one more thing to add, my mother was at the ATM by the bank and couldnt figure out how to work the machine and one of the owners of the store was there and he actually helped her through the whole process, then he walked her back to the deli and before he even knew it was my mother he had offered to help her, not knowing her at all. People like this don't just come along everyday it takes a special person to be kind to strangers, no matter who they are. Thank you Amar.

Today I went at 7:20 pm.. I went for a fresh orange juice.. the person who served me was a man with a white beard and another young man.. I asked for a fresh orange juice and they were going to sell me one that they already had stored and I told him that I wanted a ready-made juice because it was for my father since he is in the 900 coler of the same hospital that is there on Roosevelt Island.. and they told me that they were not going to make me a fresh one and they told me that they had put chlorine in the machine and that it was not going to make a mess.. I have bought there several times and I know that they have changed staff many times.. I want to speak with the manager.. because if this continues like this.. with that type of staff.. that business is not going to work for them much.. because they hire people that are not good at serving the customer as it is.. and...
