As we strolled thru Roosevelt Island I noticed this historical church from 1888 designed in Victorian Gothic architecture with brick walls over stone pavement. It’s breathtaking! The bell caught my attention. The chapel opened in 1889 and served the poor and ill that inhabited the island at the time. Today it congregates both Catholic and Protestant beliefs.
