Met Fresh — Local services in New York

I don't know....maybe it's just me.

I see a decline in this store's cleanliness, quality and care.

Many times the aisles are cluttered with abandoned shopping carts and those large steel carts used by the employees in the produce area.

Sometimes you see a piece of fruit on the floor...and I'm waiting for someone to trip.

So many times, after checking my receipt, some items have incorrect prices. I now check my receipt before leaving the store to avoid returning. The other night I was there and the cashier, busily munching on food, charged me 5.98 for lettuce. When I happened to see it on the screen, she looked annoyed and that "I don't care" look. No apology given to me. I bought 2 avocados. ..ones that were marked down as they were getting soft....and she just threw them into my bag. I told her "don't throw them...they're fragile". No apology, no "thank you", no "you're welcome.

If you have employees who don't care, maybe it's time...

Really dissapointed with Met. As a customer that has been going there for years, I am just appauled at their pandemic response. They are the only supermarket in the area not enforcing social distancing within their premise. It's always super crowded and people are on top of each other. In addition, their prices have skyrocketed (8-10 dollars per pound or cheese, 7.50 for a half gallon of milk,etc...) As inconvenient as it is, I'm forced to drive out of the area in order to go to a supermarket that values the safety of their customers and employees, and doesn't price gouge in a time of crisis.. Really sadden to see this as it was always a reasonable option for my weekly groceries. I hope their leadership starts to take the pandemic more serious and correct...
