Monica Rich Kosann — Local services in New York

I am on a short vacation to NYC, and one of the things I had planned to do was visit the Monica Rich Kosann store at 10 Columbus Circle. I have been eyeing their jewelry online for a while,but wanted to see it in person. I kept telling myself that I would only look but not buy, but it would have been very easy to convince me to buy. Luckily, I did not need any willpower, because no one helped me. There was one employee in the store (really it's more of a kiosk) in the lobby at 10 Columbus when I arrived this afternoon, and she was deep in conversation on the phone, apparently about some transaction that went wrong. I looked at everything and stood around for a bit, but she never looked up or acknowledged me. If I were her, I would have looked up and said "Sorry, I'll be with you soon," or something like that. But she didn't do that, So I went upstairs, wandered for a bit, and came back down about 20 minutes later. She was still on the phone. How complicated could any transaction possibly be? So once again, I stood around and looked while the "sales" person ignored me. I guess she just doesn't care about selling jewelry. If anyone notices very low sales when she is on duty, now...

Monica Rich Kosann shop at Time Warner Center is the BEST! Fantastic service and amazing product assortment. I am familiar with Monica's shop at Bergdorf Goodman but the product assortment provided at TWC is perfectly in my budget! You can get the greatest personalized gifts for family and friends. The designer, Monica, was in the store when I was there and along with her lovely sales team helped me pick out the perfect Poesy Ring for myself and come up with gift ideas for my loved ones for the holiday's. The windows are also amazing. LOVE LOVE LOVE this...

What a fresh approach to merchandising, and what a wonderful sense of design! Really enjoyed browsing this store at Cols Circle. If you're visiting from out of town, down't pass the store by!

I especially liked the shadow box book display concept. Innovative. Also really liked the locket-while-you wait concept. Just download one of your pix and they turn it into a locked.
