A major advancement for Penn Station, PA depot, and transportation hub long neglected by city planners. While it doesn’t have the elegance and gilded Old World charm of its Beaux Arts counterpart on the East side (Grand Central), it offers a serviceable contemporary interpretation of it. The bright main hall is made whole by a bubble glass roof reminiscent of modern European stations, but with subtle nods to Americana and the Station it complements.
There is convenient access to Amtrak portals, as well as LIRR and NJ Transit trains.
