I originally found out about Sauce through Barstool Pizza reviews several years back when Dave Portnoy reviewed the one located on East 12th Street. I never got a chance to check out that location yet, so I was pretty excited to try the one that just opened recently at the Moynihan Food Hall. I must say this pizza is probably not for everyone. If you are looking for a larger and more doughy traditional crust, then this is not for you. This pizza (by the slice) is more thin and crisp and much smaller than the slices you get at your local Pizzeria. The two pepperoni slices I got tasted really good and had a great flavor. I enjoyed the crispness of the crust and that the pepperoni didn't make the slices greasy. The service at this location seems pretty quick and the staff is friendly. Prices can be a bit steep, but you can get the combo deal of two slices and a soda for $10. Overall I give this place a 9.1 and I will...

Very rude and unprofessional. Stopped by this location while waiting for my train back to Washington, DC, and the cashier (young lady with a hijab on) blatantly told me they weren’t opening until 11:30 am (it was 11:05 am) and took the orders of the Caucasian customers immediately after I sat back down. This is my first time in New York and this experience alone didn’t make it a very pleasant one. When I inquired the lady couldn’t justify why I was told to wait until 11:30 am while she was able to serve everyone else. I’ve worked in hospitality for years so it’s not like I came off rude-- I actually stared at fbe menu for quite someone before the young lady even cared to respond. Although security came over and attempted to address the situation I had no desire to spend my money here after the...

Please release the young man working at penn station tonight at 8:30. He does not like his job and makes it well known. As customers was approaching he went to the back and texted while we said hello to see if he was coming back. He then came back to tell us that he is going to go use the bathroom and that it would be about 10 minutes (gross) he could’ve just went and came back. Also, he could’ve served us in the time it took him to hang out in the back and then coke tell us about his BMs. Please let this young man go find another job that he actually wants and will make him happy so this doesn’t happen to other customers.

I’ve been here before and had decent good customer service even though I’m not a fan of the pizza-it’s edible at best. But...

READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO!!!! So if you’re reading this review you are A either about to get pizza here or B disappointed in how bad it is. I’ve had a long day exciting and I wanted some pizza (this is my first time in NYC) and I saw this pizza place and said “hey let’s try New York pizza” I stumbled upon this area and bought 2 slices of pizza which were both overcooked and terrible then I got a soda to wash out the taste and it tasted horrible so I got another flavor and it was……horrible If I were you I would just go to the Mexican place next to it.

Excellent original, authentic NY pizza. Likely the best location in the entire Moynihan Food Hall because it is right next to this huge 500-inch TV wall, and on the other side of the TV, you have the bathrooms right there. All you need to order are these two dishes: Pesto Artichoke Pizza Vodka Squares Those are by far the best options they offer. Prices are on par with all other pizza shops in NYC and really affordable. Tell them Benjamin Templar sent you. You will not get a discount, but they will ask you: Who? Enjoy!
