Unfortunately I didn’t have the best experience at this location. Prior to visiting NYC I was extremely excited to try Cha Cha Matcha. I even had plans to go to their different locations throughout my trip each morning. I walked in with my other half and we are sensitive to dairy so we wanted to order drinks that were good on our stomachs. The service was not the best. The worker I ordered with didn’t seem pleasant and the questions I had while ordering my drink seemed to flat out annoy her. My other half and I ordered our drinks and we made sure to order it with almond milk substitute since that works well with us. While making our drinks, we noticed the other worker sniff and taste the milks to see maybe if it was still good or see if it was almond milk or not before pouring it in our drinks. My other half and I were shocked. I’m the type of customer to keep to myself so I decided not to say anything but wow that was disgusting. We got our drinks and needed to put caps on it ourselves on their table area and it was a mess with a previous customers drink spilled on the counter. While putting the caps on our drinks some of the liquid spilled on the counter and we asked for napkins because some of it went on my phone. And there were no napkins on the counter area. The workers said they’ll clean it and not to worry about it assuming our liquid only spilled on their counter. I work in food service and as a worker I constantly clean and upkeep the shop I work at and also stock napkins constantly when needed. When we walked in there were no customers so I’m sure they had the time to clean up and restock. After leaving and trying our drinks, they both tasted really good, I’ll give them that. However, it ended up wrecking both of our stomachs so either that milk wasn’t good or the worker put in the wrong milk because almond milk always works with us. Because of all that we were too bummed with our experience that we decided to not visit any of the rest of their locations and completely banned the idea of even trying it again. It’s an extremely cute location I love how the shop looks but the service needs to be better in future reference...
Read moreIt’s was nice of design for this place don’t give me wrong and seem like they have a fancy drink as a macha fan I really want to check this place out. I decided to bought the drink for my first times here instead go to Starbucks while I’m waiting my train.
HELL NO! is my bad decision and experience after I bought the drink and received their service.
See what I got that day -Their staff was rude af they probably same age like me but sounds like the staff don’t like their job? and forgot how to smile while they work.? I can tell how they service to the customers was ZERO and strong RED FLAG
-The place don’t accept cash not a problem for me but the problem is I realized when I’m on the train so they double charged to my drink first I give them gift card was took my money for matcha drink was $8 or something they told me card have something wrong I don’t think is a big deal and I go back and forth since don’t accept money. Finally I give them credit card is paid at this point they double charged me instead should pay the remaining of gift card I paid them full price of drink. Plus I get the WORST SERVICE EVER from all the lady from that shift just want to tell if you don’t like the job just quit don’t have to act to costumer like they’re trash! It’s was disappointed and not worth the money. Last but not least if you want the matcha just go to Starbucks instead! It’s hurts my feeling I will never go back to this place again swear to god...
Read moreI was actually looking for Magnolia Bakery when I stumbled upon Cha Cha Matcha. I love Matcha, so I had to go inside. The colors were super cute along with the decor. The vibe was amazing as the music played in the background. Then I was greeted by the most amazing employees Tiffany and Kyle. Their smiles were big, bright, and inviting. They just had infectious energy! At first I informed that I was just looking as I had never been in there, while they welcomed me, Tiffany then asked what I was currently drinking. I informed her a Ginger Turmeric Latte. She said wow we make the same drink and with confidence assured their version was better along with informing me that they have thee BEST matcha. She asked if I would like one. I told her that I actually LOVE MATCHA and would like to try the matcha. She said no problem and asked if I ever had a Nitro Matcha. I was super intrigued being that I love a Nitro Cold Brew. I said let's do it! It was soooo delicious, very smooth, creamy and a hint of sweetness. Tiffany said she personally made that batch! I told her she did a GREAT JOB!!! I WILL DEFINITELY return to this location because I LOVE great customer service (and of course delicious drinks)!!! Thank you Tiffany and Kyle for making my FIRST experience with Cha Cha Matcha a...
