Best florist in Brooklyn! I literally took an entire week of calling around to basically all of the local florist in search of one that could produce a "Lavender Reflections Spray" for a funeral. I received some telephone responses that confirmed that there was no way I could trust the people on the other end with such an important order. This was a "Standing" Spray and I had a few florists tell me that they had no easels. One lady actually told me they would deliver the flowers and leave them for us display how we choose, I was appalled! Another woman had a television blaring in the background, and she sounded as if I woke her up with my call, it was like mid-day. Being in a different state I could not hand pick the flowers, nor could I see the florists' work or verify delivery so I had to find a place I could trust! After hours of reading reviews for other places (including the big names like Teleflora & 800Flowers) and looking at customer pictures and an overwhelming number of poor reviews, I read the reviews for this place. I decided to call, and I initially spoke with Chester. He answered all of my questions and confirmed that they had easels in stock for the standing sprays, he told me which flowers he did not have in stock and the ones they would replace them with, he verified the arrangement would be similar to the size of the one in the website picture and that they would be able to deliver my order on time (this was TWO DAYS before the funeral). Needless to say, I placed my order!!! The day of the funeral, I was super nervous - again I am in a different state. So, I called an actually spoke with the florist that created the arrangement. The name was Harry I believe. They advised me that the reason I may have had so much trouble locating anyone to create the arrangement I selected was because most florist hate to make that particular one, but this was Harry's favorite one to make. I was thrilled. I requested a proof picture since I was not there, but Harry said they did not want to ruin the surprise for me but that I should rest assured that I would not be disappointed. I trusted them and I have no regrets. I had a family member take a picture for me and the flowers were breathtaking. Unfortunately, Google did not allow my pictures to upload for this review. Perhaps I can update it later, but I highly recommend this place. I have already referred my friends and family in NY. Thank you MWAH! You saved the day! I never write reviews, but I promised Harry if I was pleased with the outcome that I would. You kept your word, so I'm keeping...
Read moreA TRUE SHOWING OF A PROFESSIONAL AND CARING BUSINESS My boss had surgery and we wanted to send an arrangement to her. I live on Long Island and she is in Brooklyn so I had no idea of any local florists. I googled her address to find nearby stores and came across MWAH Flowers which was 10 minutes away. I read many of the reviews and saw pictures which were all wonderful. I placed an online order around Noon on Wednesday and it was same day delivery. Thursday AM I asked her if she received them and she said no. I called and spoke to Steve who said they tried to reach her at least twice but apparently her cell phone not recognizing the number was sending it straight to voicemail thinking it was spam. I assured him that she was home but he was hesitant to leave them because it is so cold out and it's not good for the fresh flowers (which I appreciated and understood). I gave my boss his number so they can connect. After a few failed connections they finally spoke and they were left in the evening. Apparently, someone walking by noticed how beautiful they were and decided to take them for themselves :( The next day again she called to confirm they were delivered and sure enough they were so it was confirmed they were hijacked by a very selfish stranger. Of course, Steve felt terrible and told her he was going to redo the arrangement for her because he really wanted her to have them. As you can see from this picture, the arrangement is BEAUTIFUL! It looks like exactly what I picked online. This was NOT A CHEAP arrangement and he redid them and they look as beautiful as they probably were originally. THAT IS A TRUE SHOWING OF A PROFESSIONAL AND CARING BUSINESS MAN. He could have skimped out and made something smaller or leave out some of the costly flowers but he didn't. Reviews are important for a business. I trusted the reviews I read online since I am not familiar with the store or the area and I am glad I did. HIGHLY RECOMMEND MWAH FLOWERS for their beautiful flowers, but more importantly, their honest and caring...
Read moreYou know, I hesitate to do this, but I truly had a poor, stressful experience with Mwah. I ordered flowers for same day delivery, a day before my friends wedding (just roses in a vase). There was no order updates sent, nor a delivery confirmation. I tried using their online chat to get an order status (not possible) and then tried calling to no availâno one ever responded. I tried calling 3 times again the next morning, still, no one ever picked up. Finally, I found a customer service email and tried that. I did receive a response, telling me the flowers were delivered the day before to the hotel. I called the hotel to confirm, and they said no flowers had ever come. I then did a back and forth, emailing with Mwah and calling the hotel to try to get the story straight. After much back and forth between calling the hotel and emailing with Mwah, they told me they could redo the arrangement and have it delivered the next dayâtwo days after the same-day order was placed. This made me disappointed, as it was now the wedding day, and I was emailing at roughly noon NYC timeâseemingly plenty of time to make a local delivery happen before end of day. Despite the claim that the flowers were delivered, my friends never received them in the end. Mwah said they don't offer refunds on fresh flowers, so I was offered a 40% discount on my order. While I appreciate the gesture, I just think it's a bit ridiculous that I paid $100 (now $60) for nothing lolâno flowers were ever received. My feedback would be: engage with a system, or update your system so that it sends order updates (like en route and/or a delivery confirmation). Answer your phone, and if you can't do that, have a text-based service or some way for customers to get order status updates online (you have a chat service which is already ahead of most). Finally, offer a full refund if flowers just do not arrive in the hands of the customer, or at the very least honor the original service level agreement paid for by your customer...
