Natalia is INCREDIBLE! I couldn't possibly fit everything into one review. I went to Nazarela after trying on probably close to 100 dresses, and nothing felt like me. I had walked by her shop so many times after living on 5th Ave for years, and decided to make an appointment. Natalia was so reassuring, talked me through her process, and offered advice about what would look best without being overbearing. As someone who is pretty indecisive, the wedding planning process was difficult for me - Natalia was patient, kind and accommodating throughout. After meeting Natalia, I told her that my husband and I would be moving out of state - she assured me that this wouldn't be a problem, and we scheduled out my fittings far in advance. She even scheduled two in one week while I was back on the east coast, making the alterations in just a few days!

Natalia made it a priority to make sure I felt comfortable and confident in my dress. When I met Natalia, I had fallen in love with the lace from another dress I had tried on; we ordered the lace so she could assess the quality, and made it work with one of her designs. When I called her in February (my wedding was in May) to inquire about changing the design to include the look of a two-piece, she said it was no problem, even leaving the top and skirt disconnected for my first fitting so I could make the decision after seeing how it fit. I loved the idea of a two piece, so we came up with a design that looked like a top and skirt from the front, but a full dress in the back. A month before the wedding, when I wanted to adjust the fit of the skirt, she made it work. The dress was SO comfortable and lightweight, and I was able to dance in it all night!

And... the cherry on top - I came to her in March with the idea to turn my mom's wedding dress into a pantsuit for our welcome party the night before the wedding. She whipped out her sketch pad and created a design that was beyond what I had envisioned. I got more compliments than I could have imagined on the outfits for both nights, and the best part was everyone telling me how much they felt like me. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Nazarela - Natalia is a true professional and I'd recommend her to anyone, especially an indecisive bride or someone who was struggling to feel like themselves in a more generic wedding dress!!

I am SO glad that I got my wedding dress at Nazarela and absolutely recommend the entire experience! The owner, Natalia, is incredibly talented and designs beautiful dressings - just as importantly, she is a patient listener, works carefully with you to create the dress you want, and responds quickly to any feedback you have. I worked with her to create a dress after trying on a few at her store. We were able to incorporate elements that I liked from the in-store dresses with a photo of something from online that I liked. Natalia is an expert at finding the right fabrics, silhouettes, and designs for your body, and had terrific advice at every step of the way (since I'm quite indecisive). Our appointments were fun, stress-free, and relaxed. I absolutely loved how my dress came out. It was exactly how I imagined it and looked gorgeous on the day of - I got so many compliments from friends and family! My dress was also incredibly light and comfortable throughout a 90 degree August day, with hours of eating and dancing. I didn't worry about how I was looking at all or adjust any parts of my outfit during my wedding.
