Extremely Disappointing Experience – Misleading Website & Unprofessional Staff
We flew in from Florida specifically to attend the NYC Jewelry, Antique & Object Show. The event’s website stated a 10:00 AM opening, so we arrived right at 10—only to be told that general admission doesn’t begin until 12:00 PM, and the early hours are for VIPs only.
We had printed our tickets in advance, and all we needed was the light blue general admission wristband (as opposed to the VIP version) to return at noon. We simply asked the front desk staff to give us the wristband in advance so we wouldn’t have to stand in line again at 12, especially since the confusion was due to their poorly communicated website details.
