I recently had the pleasure of organizing an event at The Altman Building and it exceeded all my expectations. From the beginning the Altman Building's team was both professional, friendly, and extremely helpful, making the event as seamless as possible from planning, to set up, to take down.

One of the highlights of The Altman Building is its versatility. The space is beautiful and can easily be transformed for any type of event from weddings, to bar/bat mitzvahs, fundraisers, workout classes, panel discussions, conferences and more!

Above all, the staff helped make our event so special, going above and beyond to accommodate us to make sure we had a successful event that everything ran smoothly.

My husband and I had our wedding at The Altman Building this past year, and we are still on cloud nine. Perry, Jacqueline, and the Altman team made the planning process so seamless and were a pleasure to work with. We used their preferred caterer, Thomas Preti, and they did not disappoint! Our guests are still raving about the food. Their staff exceeded all expectations and went out of their way to make sure that everything was taken care of. The venue itself is beautiful and their lighting and AV system made such a difference for not only our photos, but also the entertainment and dance floor. We would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to have a quintessential NYC wedding...

The Altman Building is a fantastic venue. The space is a beautiful mix of modern and historical, and with two levels, there is plenty of room but the venue still feels intimate. The location is easily accessible, with good foot traffic in front of the building. The staff are truly a joy to work with - they are helpful, responsive, flexible, and knowledgeable.
