Chelsea Green — Attraction in New York

It's a nice addition to the neighborhood BUT at first they allowed dogs on leashes, and now they have posted a sign saying No Pets. Apparently a parent complained because someone brought a dog in without a leash. That's obviously against the rules, but why should all dog-owners suffer? I am contacting the Parks Department to lodge a complaint. This park appears to be entirely geared to parents with young children. NOT a community...
