Stopped by this morning and was helped by Moises who was very friendly. I ordered tamales, one of each arepa (cheese, chicken, pork and beef) and one of each empanada (chicken, beef, beef & cheese) for take out. All of the empanadas were crispy and flaky, the chicken and beef were seasoned perfectly, the beef & melty cheese was very satisfying and the salsa verde w/ picante adds another layer of deliciousness. My daughter left from the store today. It was her first time there. She order a beef empanada. My daughter understands the language enough to order and know what going on. She inform me the cashier called her “preto” after she said thank you. This is very upsetting to have my daughter come home telling me this!!! Fire empanadas! They serve two different types of them, and we went with the flour wrapped type instead of the Venezuelan corn flour wrapped ones. Fillings were chicken+cheese and beef+cheese, and they were very tasty.
