Nuts Factory — Local services in New York

5/5 stars I recently visited Nut Factory and was blown away by the vast variety of healthy options and different nuts and sweets they had to offer. As someone who is notoriously picky and indecisive, I was initially overwhelmed by the sheer amount of choices. But, from the moment I walked in, the staff and manager Lizana were incredibly helpful and welcoming.

Lizana, in particular, went above and beyond to assist me. She took the time to explain the ingredients and benefits of each product, answering all my questions and making recommendations based on my dietary needs. Despite my hesitation, she was patient and enthusiastic, making me feel comfortable and informed throughout the process.

What impressed me most was the level of knowledge and expertise the staff had about their products. They were able to break down complex ingredients and nutrition labels into easy-to-understand terms, putting my mind at ease.

The store itself is well-organized and easy to navigate, with clear signage and ample shelf space. The prices are competitive, and the quality of the products is top-notch.

Overall, I left Nut Factory feeling empowered and excited to continue exploring their offerings. I’ve been a loyal customer of Nuts Factory for years and absolutely love their products. However, this location has the worst customer service!

It’s not my first time experiencing issues here—cashiers frequently make mistakes, and I’ve even seen an employee casually eating nuts while on duty. But today was the worst experience yet. When I questioned the cashier about the price of chocolate (which was listed as $12.99 per pound near the product but showed almost $25 per pound on his laptop), he raised his voice at me and nearly started yelling! His response was, “You have to look at the price and know that all prices in the store are per half-pound, while my laptop shows the full-pound price.” How was I supposed to know that? Instead of clarifying politely, he was rude and dismissive.

To top it off, the store was a mess—nuts scattered all over the floor. I understand it was 30 minutes before closing, but that’s no excuse for poor cleanliness or bad customer service.

This is no way to treat loyal customers. I won’t be returning to this location, and I hope management takes action to improve the service and...

Very cool nuts and candy shop. Much needed for the neighborhood! Any nuts with any coating you can imagine is here! Beside all the chocolate covered nuts and dried fruits, they also have things like… Pistachio covered hazelnuts, coconut covered pecans, Turkish delights, different chocolate barks with different nuts or dried fruit inside, and candy 🍬 They also have bulk spices, and some packaged flour and pasta. But I think the coolest thing they did is that you can try anything, ANYTHING! That’s a great selling point if you’re shopping for gifts for others...
