Customer service was absolutely horrible. Hostess or waiter did not greet us upon arrival the staff seemed more occupied socializing on their own personal issues rather then discussing anything relative to their job duties. After waiting to be seated approximately 20 min., we were seated in a section where the waiter supposedly recently clocked out for their shifted resulting in no waiter tending to our table for another 20 min. after being seated. I literally had to leave my table and approach the hostess stand and inform them we were not being tended too after being seated. The hostess said ok I'll see what I can do while she was there with four other employees chit chating and laughing all looking at their phones. Then a waiter approached my table and explained how he was overwhelmed with numerous responsibilities yet would still tend to our table. Where is the management? Management means directing and controlling a group of people or an organization to reach a goal. Management often means the deployment and manipulation of human resources, financial resources, technological resources, and natural resources. Orders were taken by the waiter and received in a fashionably good time yet were wrong. Somewhere in the communication with the waiter and kitchen an error was committed. Two items from my order were missing and the waiter himself did not notice upon delivery to our table. I brung it to their attention and the food items were brung out later after the already main course played received were cooling down. I felt extremely uncomfortable and will never dine at this location again. I expressed my experience with management and his response was with an apology stating he was overwhelmed with the capacity of work at hand. Mind you before I approached him he was standing next to the hostess stand with four employees chit chatting and laughing as I stated before. I also ordered a liquor drink which the bartender made in the wrong fashion. All around under par performance from...
Read moreI've been to Dallas BBQ on Junction before I absolutely love my experience everytime I go to that location. This time I didn't go to that location. BIG MISTAKE!!!! After being seated my party and I waited 15 mins before our waitor came over to introduce himself. It took another 15 to get the drinks we ordered. When we finally recieved our drinks we ordered our food. The waitor took our orders never saying the fries he suggested were an upsell and would be extra. We all ordered wings and shrimp. He asked if we wanted fries with that which seem to us as if they came with it. So, we all agreed to it. Then he asked what sauce we wanted with our meal. Again indicating that it was apart of the meal. He placed our order and we didn't see him again for 30 mins. We got our food but, it wasn't him that brought it. We ate we laughed. Then came our checks. We all had a different price. Which is odd, why are we all paying something different when we all ordered the exact same thing? He charged some of us for fries some of us for sauce that again he said it as if it was all apart of what we ordered not an upsell. Don't get me wrong it wasn't an outrageous price. The principle is the way he presented it to deceive his guest. Bottomline Clyde or Clive can't remember his name at this point only wanted the money he didn't care not one bit about how he treated nor served my table because he was getting a tip anyway due to the size of the party. His upsells just guatanteed him even more tip at the end. Never will I ever go back to that location. And when I visit the one on Junction Blvd again I am going to ask is Clyde or Clive whatever the hell his name is, if he is there I will never be served by him again. If I had the option to not give a tip based on his service I wouldn't. He was never at the table, he lied and he didn't price us the same. This comment should be 0 stars but unfortunately that's...
Read moreMy family and I ate at BBQ's for the early bird special. To my surprise the food has gone way down hill. Our male waiter did not seem to care that he had served us food on dirty dishes. We had to send our sodas back because the glasses were filthy. Also seemed he had somewhat of an attitude I guess he was waiting for a table that would provide him with more of a tip. When the waiter got a table full of people ordering more liquor than food we were completely ignored. Really wish we had of gone to the Times Square location which we know is good, would have been at least more exciting and probably cleaner too. But it seems like the people in charge were trying their best, coming out clearing the tables just seems like they were overwhelmed and need to hire better waitstaff and of course a better dish washer. I really miss the 72nd and Central Park location, which is now closed for good. Also they may as well serve the food on paper plates with plastic forks because dinnerware is horrible at this location unlike the old West 72nd & Central Park location. At the Eastside location small plates with food crowded on plates, cheap bendable forks, spoons and knives. My family and I have been coming to BBQ's for 15 years since we lived in Manhattan we have celebrated many birthdays all at the West 72nd and Central Park location that we truly miss, many great memories and lovely dinners and beautiful walks in Central Park after dinner. I hope if we decide to come here again at this location on the Eastside we will get the pristine service we used to get at the old Westside location. I also hope they will improve...
