Do not hire NYE Staffing.
We hired NYE Staffing to provide servers for our August 14, 2025 wedding. On August 13, the day before the wedding, NYE Staffing emailed us and said they could not find any staff to work our wedding, so they were cancelling our contract.
I am very sympathetic to the fact that there were not any staff available. Of course, if there aren't staff available, nothing will make staff magically appear. So, I will explain why I am so upset by this and why I fully blame NYE Staffing for this happening:
NYE Staffing waited until 24 hours before our wedding to notify us. They claimed that they had been searching for staff ever since we signed our contract, and could not find any. Why not tell us 1 week in advance "Hey, just a heads up, we still haven't found staff?" Even just 3 days notice would have been much more manageable and professional. One possible explanation for this is, NYE Staffing did not even try to find staff until the last minute. Either explanation is completely unacceptable. We hired NYE Staffing and paid our deposit at the end of May, meaning NYE Staffing had ~11 weeks to locate staff. If 11 weeks is not enough time to find staff, then NYE Staffing was certainly happy to say nothing and take our money anyways when we hired them.
Several hours after telling us they had cancelled our contract, NYE Staffing told us that actually, they found staff that could work our event through a seperate company, but it would cost an extra $200 above the $1300 we had already paid. Could NYE Staffing not have offered to cover the difference, as a way to right their wrong?
Why didn't NYE Staffing offer higher wages to attract staff members to work the event? Everybody has a price - at a certain price point, people will travel any distance to work any job. Perhaps they would not have turned a profit, so they decided their bottom line was more important than following through on contractually agreed services. I can only speculate. I paid exactly what they asked for and did not haggle or negotiate - it is NYE Staffing's responsibility to set their prices appropriately so that they can make a profit, not mine. Any business venture has risks, but it seems NYE Staffing feels that all that risk should be their customer's problem, not theirs.
This was an unfortunate, but fixable situation (see above paragraph listing solutions) that NYE staffing chose not to fix. I wonder, if I had told NYE Staffing on August 13 "I have decided to cancel my contract due to circumstances out of my control." would they have granted me a refund? The answer is no, based on their stated cancellation policy. So why should I grant them any sympathy for doing exactly that to me?
To be fair to NYE Staffing, they did refund my payment in full. Of course, any less would have been unacceptable. Thank you NYE Staffing for allowing me to have my money back after you failed to deliver the services I paid you for.
Do not bother hiring NYE Staffing, because they will end up making you hire someone else anyways. Just skip this unecessary and frustrating step by hiring any other company in the first place. I hope you find this...
Read moreI cannot recommend this company enough. I hosted an Engagement Party in my backyard and hired NYE Staffing, specifically their Bartenders and Servers. I wanted a classy/elegant experience to elevate the backyard event so I contacted Amanda and NYE Staffing after seeing them at a friends Engagement Dinner. They were so receptive to my requests as we were having an Indian dinner (dropped off by the caterer) and we love our food throughly heated when served. Amanda made sure the service team sent knew the menu and serving time and they didn’t miss a beat. They needed no direction, used our oven, and got the job done with minimal direction. Food was hot and everyone was raving about the it. The bartenders were on the same page, serving about 200 guests and keeping up with the high demands of the crowd. They were true mixologists, crafting drinks with love and knowledge. Everyone was having such a great time we ended up extending the party by an hour and I simply called Amanda to do that and paid the extra in mere minutes. It just goes to show their flexibility to make sure your event is amazing. You NEED to hire this company to take your party to the next level big or small. Having the servers and bartenders on a team together instead of getting them from multiple outlets made such a difference. I can’t imagine hosting another one without them by my side....

Was waiting to be put in touch with the bartender all week, sent reminders on November 2nd, November 3rd, November 4th and never got a response. Because of the nature of event management, I could not trust this provider 24 hours before the event and was considering cancelling. I called both of their phone numbers on their website and landed on Amanda, who apologized for not having responded. When I told her I wanted to cancelled, she claimed the process would take a week, and told me they would refund. Today I received a phone call saying they refuse to refund because they have a policy saying I can't cancel they day before, even though this is due to them being unresponsive...
