Beautiful to walk around . There is by the Staten Island building Ferry Terminal. 2nd floor and inside Battery Park. Many venders down here. But bring your own water if u don't want to pay $ 5/6 a bottle or drinks. Go to Walgreens or news stands to get less priced water or drinks. The news stands usually at every corner . They sell candy drinks , magazines, potato chips . If u buy it from hot dog guys they very expensive. Down here at Battery Park you can take the Free Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty. It's beautiful beautiful ride especially if weather is nice and not cold. It's a 25 min ride going and 25 min ride coming back to Manhattan. You get a nice view of Manhattan on ferry and I'm not sure if there are rest rooms on ferry but def in terminals. Please make sure you do not leave your belongings on the ferry behind you. Commuters take this ferry as well so anyone that finds stuff it is a possibility that they will keep it. This ferry is free to see the Statue of Liberty. Also people just to let you know it runs all night. So u can see the Statue of Liberty at night it is a beautiful beautiful ride and u get a beautiful view of Manhattan at night. Don't worry when u get off the ferry cross the st by the side right door as u come out the terminal and literally the subway is across the st. Once you go down the subway . You make sure to take any train UPTOWN TO TIMES SQUARE WHICH IS THE SAME THING AS 42 ST. AS YOUR ON THE TRAIN IF THE RECORDING FOR WHERE YOU ARE EACH TIME THE TEAIN STOPS DOESN'T WORK. THEN LOOK ON THE WALL. IT ALL SAYS IT. NOW OF U DONT WANT TO TAKE THE TRAIN UPTOWN THE AS YOU VOME OUT THE FERRY TERMINAL MAKE A LEFT WALK TO THE ST LIGHT AND CROSS THE ST . YOU EANT TO BE GOING IN THE DIRECTUON AWAY FROM FEERY TERMINAL KEEP WALKING TILL U SEE A CITY BANK. YOU EANT TO BE ON THIS SIDE OF THE ST. LOOK AT THE CITY BUS STOPS WAIT THERE WHERE IT SAYS M-55that bus takes you back up to Times Square. Once u get on the bus you can tap your debit card on bus it will take $2.90 out for each person. They let kids free. You can Also buy a Metro card it's a dollar for the Metro card it's self. But only put money on it for the amount of people in your group. Kids go under like 7 or 8 years they can go under. Do NOTTT PUT A LOT MONEY ON YOUR METRO. CARD YOU DONT GET IT BACK . ONLY PUT WHAT YOU NEED.. ITS $2.90 PER PERSON AND YOU GET A TWO HOUR TO GO FROM BUS TRAIN. PLEASE READ UP ON METRO CARD YOU DO GET A LOT FOR YOUR MONEY BUT ITS A BIT COMPLICATED TO EXPLAIN. JUST DONT PUT A LOT ON IT .
