Listen up. This is the only review you need to read. I have lived in this masterpiece of a building for five blissful years. And I STILL find new things to love about it! OMS does not quit!!! On top of the already longggg list of over-the-top amenities, they continue to add more and more! It’s wild. Just in the last few weeks they added nail services in the spa and music classes for kids. The staff is without a doubt the best in the city, no exaggeration, and are truly salt of the earth. Always so so helpful. I adore them so much. And the building is always SPOTLESS. In 5 years I have yet to see a single piece of trash or one thing out of place. I take the FREE shuttle to work every morning, and it takes me back to OMS at the end of the day. Hello service! And don’t even get me started on the mail room. Do you realize what a luxury it is to live in ny and never have a single issue with your packages… and believe me, I get a LOT of packages. AND they also take returns!!! Oh and they handle dry cleaning as well. Need your dog walked while you’re away? They do that. Have any repair big or small? They’re there in 15-20 mins, doesn’t matter what time of day. It’s crazy!!!! What other building has that level of response time?! Do you want to book a massage or acupuncture? Just go downstairs. Want your kid to learn how to swim? Sign up for a class in the pool. In the mood for some golf /squash/pickleball/basketball/bowling/foosball/billiards? Come on down. I have never once had to wait for a treadmill in the gym and I only go during peak hours. Need a change of scenery from working inside your apartment? There’s no shortage of co-working spaces and a conference room. Security? Top notch. Have a bike? They have safe storage. Prefer citibike? There’s a dock right outside. Need groceries? Well guess what, it’s literally next door. Bottom line: living here is an experience like no other. The views still bring tears to my eyes and I will never ever take it for granted. It’s indisputably THE BEST VIEWS IN THE CITY. There’s no comparison. I could go on and on about how special this building is. OMS #1 fan for life. The building's thoughtfulness is a 100/10 in my book, top to bottom. And for any review for the elevator issues or a package being momentarily misplaced… look, it’s a building of 815 apartments. Shit happens sometimes. I agree the elevators can have issues from time to time, but honest to god, I can't think of a single other "issue" with the building. And I know the staff does their absolutely best to remedy quickly. It's not the end of the world. I just have so much respect and appreciation, and awe quite frankly, for what it must take to develop, design, and operate a building of this magnitude. It's no easy feat! So they deserve grace when issues arise. Because that is small potatoes compared to the literal dozens of other conveniences and concierge services this building...

Let’s start with the elevators, which are the single worst part of living here. Constantly out of order, painfully slow, and often stopping on every floor with no one getting on or off. You can easily spend 30+ minutes round trip just trying to get to the lobby and back. During peak hours, the crowd at the ground floor elevator bank feels like Penn Station. And remember — delivery drivers aren’t allowed past the lobby, so good luck getting your dinner upstairs while it’s still warm. And if you’re having a medical emergency, good luck .. emergency responders won’t get to your floor in time. I’ve missed dinner reservations waiting 20+ minutes to get an elevator… sometimes you just have to get in the first one that shows up, get close to your floor, and take the stairs.
The mailroom is another disaster. Slow, unprofessional, and often misplaces packages. The staff is unmotivated at best, downright rude at worst. Avi stands out for being particularly unpleasant — impatient, dismissive, and careless with deliveries. Expect to stand in line for 20+ minutes on a good day while staff drag their feet or scroll their phones.
The amenities, while extensive on paper, are largely useless in practice. Everything requires advance booking — often weeks ahead — so if you’re trying to be spontaneous, forget it. Want to bring friends? If you know more than 4 people, you’ll need to rent out the space for thousands of dollars, even if you live here.
And yes — on multiple days, mud comes out of the faucets. Let that sink in.
The only bright spot is the front desk team. Orlando, Amari, Derek, and Slater are excellent — professional, kind, and helpful. Unfortunately, their great service doesn’t make up for the building’s overwhelming dysfunction.
Bottom line: This place is not worth the hype or the price tag. It’s all optics — beautiful finishes masking deep...
