Amazing selection and (usually) great cust service. But I knocked two stars off because there's this guy who works there who acts like a bully around a more junior sales person. The more senior employee claims to be helping because the other sales person "is new". Who cares?!? The newer guy was doing great and really helping me with a great, positive attitude and excellent product knowledge. This more senior employee, grunts, grumbles and points to things he should be saying and doing in the middle of my transaction. This has happened each time I've gone in this year. It's enough to keep me away. I don't want energy like that while I'm dropping a lot of money. For god's sake, its a retail store, he needs to relax. He has never once smiled or come off as anything other than cranky and punitive. He is not a natural salesperson, and may need a back of house job. I had a deeply concerning experience at this luggage store. The staff's behavior was inappropriate from the start - instead of answering our questions, they shadowed us throughout the store in an uncomfortable manner. When we asked about luggage options, they persistently pushed older Tumi models at full retail prices rather than addressing our actual needs.

Most alarmingly, we discovered we had been locked inside the store during our visit, something that hadn't been the case when we entered. This is not only poor customer service but potentially a safety issue. The combination of pushy sales tactics, unhelpful service, and being unexpectedly locked in made for an unsettling shopping experience. Pertutti is my jam! Granted: I have a bag problem but I've actually calmed down a bit with reckless purchasing by shopping here. First: staff/owners? GEMS. And super knowledgeable about style, function and seasonal offerings.

I also appreciate that they keep their site up to date so I can pop in knowing if the bag or accessory I have in mind is in stock. More often than not, I see a brand out in the wild, decide I like it and find that Pertutti stocks it.

I've also recommended Pertutti to friends who've had success both browsing and knowing exactly what they need.

Finally, they're very tolerant of trying on and indecisiveness. Their return policy is fair and likely kept that way by the trust the staff inspires between them and their customers.
