If Bobby Brown wants this to work, she needs to have a better staff. I called today to find out where theyâre located. I got the address, but the person on the phone could give me no information as to any kind of transportation that goes there. I live on the upper side, I rarely ever go to that area. And other than a taxi or an Uber neither of which do I feel safe riding in I wanted to know how to get there by bus. Rude unpleasant person on the phone. Finally found a way to get down to the shop by bus. The product is fabulous. The packaging leaves a lot to be desired. The blush and eyeshadow containers are very difficult to open. A twist up sti Just tired, tired ck blush of which we bought two, once you wind it up to use it you have to push it down with your fingers. It doesnât go down by counter, turning it. The brushes do not come with any kind of a cover so even though you wipe them after using them, they do mess up your cosmetic bag. The store looks like a pop-up. Seems that as soon as she can get into a department store they are out of there. There is no place to sit down while makeup is being applied. You have to constantly stand bent over . My Biggest complaint is the customers put their fingers in all of the products. There are Q-tips, but none of the staff tells the customers they should be using them. That bothered me more than anything. Very unsanitary! I said at the beginning the product is fabulous. It is. I also want to add that Jazz Is great! She has a wonderful eye for color. I love everything that she suggested. I would like to order some things over the phone, but that is a problem as rarely does...
Read moreLove the products and previously had a very positive experience in the store when a very kind and patient employee helped me and my mom (I think her name is Jazz...). Also they have a generous return policy--can use the products and still exchange/return.
BUT unfortunately the second time I went in I had the worst retail experience of my entire life. I have never before been humiliated and bullied by a sales associate. I came in asking for a shade I knew worked for me and she ridiculed me for thinking that would work and bullied me into buying a far lighter shade. (It didn't work and I had to exchange it and sure enough the original shade I came in asking forâfour whole shades darker than what she sold meâworks perfectly) She put an even darker shade than I had asked for on my face just to laugh at it and called over her coworker to see "how wrong it looked." I didn't even have interest in that shade, she just wanted to mock me. She made multiple other rude comments and made me feel so small: never asked what I was looking for, told me I held the mirror at an unflattering angle and should never do that. On top of being unbelievably rude, she just was not knowledgable: she told me a product didn't have shimmer and when I looked online it does in fact have "multidimensional shimmer."
I wish I had just walked out. I feel torn about going back because I do like the products, but this was just a terrible experience and I hope it doesn't happen to others. Making women feel bad is not a way to sell makeup and I hope the store makes serious changes to their staff because the products are great and deserve to be...
Read moreSo after reading the reviews I was very hesitant to go in the store so I had my husband wait outside instead of dropping me off. The store was packed and I walked around. When I saw a salesperson was finished with a client I asked if she could help me. She still needed to ring up and told me to just wait a few minutes. She then asked another person to come and help me. I waited about 5 -8 minutes which I thought was great considering the store was packed. Elyse came over to help me and was superb. Absolutely superb. Friendly / knowledgeable and not pushy at all. I actually had my college age daughter come in from the car for Elyse to rec a few "quick" products since my daughter claims she is too busy studying to put on makeup. She loved the lipstick, balm , and foundation that Elsye applied to her face in less than 2 minutes. I bought tons of products and can't wait to use and Elyse reminded me to call the store or customer service with any questions. She was super friendly and super professional. Not sure why there are poor reviews. However, I will say, while I was there we were interrupted 2x by rude people asking questions (while Elyse was showing me stuff) and a woman was complaining about needing her make up done and didn't understand the staff explaining she needed to book an appt ahead of time. This reminded me why I could never work in customer service. NY people need to relax a bit and realize salespeople/customer service reps are humans too...not a punching bag. Treat others like you want to be treated. Respect every...
