I just worked with Joe on an extremely complicated job and I was absolutely astounded with the work he and Kathy did. I’ve been a photographer in the city for the last 18 years, worked with framers all over, I’ve even framed myself, and I can say without a doubt there is nobody I would trust more as a framer after this job. I plan to use them exclusively going forward. We had about five weeks to scout a massive office, pick out prints from my collection, and take 30 old gold trimmed frames from decades ago from their office to refresh with new work. Joe measured them all, worked with me on the measurements and print proportions to fit correctly, printed them (wonderfully printed), and came into the office to take apart the old frames and replace them with the new matted prints. The speed and precision that they did this with was astounding. Everything fit, everything was measured and done perfectly. And there was even a further complication to the job when I found out I needed surgery a week before the client wanted it finished and I wouldn’t be able to lift 10 pounds for 10 days after. To help, Joe and Kathy rushed to get it done so I would have two days to put the 30 massives frames up around the office. Everything was finished the day before my surgery thanks to them. The office looked fantastic. In addition, they are just wonderful people. Use them as a framer and photographer and I’m sure you will be extremely happy that you did, as I was.

Pro film photographer here. I've been coming to this lab for film development for over a year now. They've always been reliable and have never let me down. A few tips for non-pros: 1) If you're using a disposable camera, make sure it’s not expired and the batteries aren’t dead. 2) In low-light environments such as night clubs, try using flash. 3) If you have a semi-manual camera, check out any YouTube tutorial on light metering, ISO, shutter speed, and aperture. 4) Different film stocks create different vibes. If you’re unsure and want a classic film look, go with Kodak Color Plus 200. Check out my work on Insta @max_sokolov all my recent photos were developed by this lab

The staff is friendly. However, the interactive screen that assists in choosing and editing your photos is not in service. I had to just email them my pictures, and they were printed with no editing at all. Also, the store is extremely pricey. Frames and prints are very expensive. However, since the store is a boutique shop in the middle of Rockefeller Center you might expect that.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Photo Mission for my companies corporate headshots and various internal events, and I must say they exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, their professionalism, expertise, and exceptional service made the entire experience truly remarkable.

When I initially reached out to Photo Mission for our corporate headshots, Joe was prompt in responding and demonstrated a keen understanding of our requirements. They were accommodating in scheduling the sessions, ensuring that they fit seamlessly into our busy work schedule. The Joe and his team at Photo Mission provided clear instructions on how to prepare for the shoot, which made the process convenient and stress-free for myself and all of our employees.

During the headshot sessions, their photographer exhibited a remarkable level of skill and creativity. They knew exactly how to capture each individual's unique personality while maintaining a consistent and professional aesthetic across all the photographs. The team was attentive to detail, ensuring that everyone looked their best, and they managed to create a relaxed and comfortable environment, which contributed to capturing genuine expressions and smiles.

Impressed with their professionalism and the outstanding results from the headshot sessions, I decided to hire Photo Mission for our internal events as well. Once again, they proved their reliability and talent. Their photographers seamlessly blended into the events, capturing candid moments, keynote speakers, and the overall atmosphere with great precision. They understood the importance of capturing both the significant moments and the subtle details that make each event memorable.

Throughout our collaboration, Photo Mission consistently demonstrated their commitment to delivering high-quality work. They were attentive to our specific needs and vision, ensuring that they understood our goals for each project. Their team was reliable, punctual, and always well-prepared, making the entire process smooth and efficient.

I can confidently say that Photo Mission has become our go-to photography service in NYC. Their expertise, professionalism, and ability to consistently exceed expectations have made them an invaluable asset to our company. I highly recommend Photo Mission for any corporate photography needs, be it headshots, events, or other projects. Their remarkable talent, combined with their friendly and accommodating approach, make them a truly exceptional choice.

I look forward to working with Photo Mission on future projects and witnessing their continued success. Thank you to the entire team for your...

Joe and the Photo Mission team recently produced over 40 large-scale, framed photo prints as the finishing touch of decor for my company’s office renovation. A project of this caliber requires quality craftsmanship, timely coordination, and an attitude of partnership to see it fulfilled. Photo Mission did not disappoint, and in fact, exceeded expectations in all areas. I can’t sing their praises enough, but I’ll try.

Since the pieces were all oversized – some nearing 100” long – print quality and frame durability were my main concerns. When I explained the scope of this project to Joe, he immediately understood the vision and kindly walked me through the steps of the process, from frame and matte selection, to print proofing, to construction, all of which quickly reassured me that I was getting a high quality product.

Once it came time to review works in progress, I was amazed. The printed images – especially from photos I had quality concerns about – were phenomenally crisp and rich in color, so much so that I could swear the PM team worked some kind of magic on them without my knowing! The unveiling of the first framed pieces truly made my jaw drop. Now that they are all hung, the whole company is raving about them as well, even expressing pride in seeing large photos of their projects all around them.

The PM team not only produced a beautiful product, they did so quickly, respecting my approval process and installation deadlines. Once the materials were in and files received, PM was able to turn around these large frames on a rolling basis, sometimes in as little as 2 days per batch. To work this quickly and maintain such quality is truly remarkable and a great show of reliability.

Photo Mission has a long-standing partnership with my company reaching back over 20 years, but this was my first project working closely with Joe and the team. And I’m so happy I got the chance to do so. Joe, especially, really understands this kind of creative work and feels more like a collaborator than a vendor. He and his team are kind, warm, patient, and professional and visits to their studio never felt like work. I’m so impressed by PM that I’m even having my own personal artwork framed by them as well.

I can say with confidence that I not only trust Photo Mission with my next project, but am looking for reasons to work with them again! Thank you, Joe. Thank you, Photo Mission. You’ll be hearing from...
