Love finding more casual affordable tasting menus for under $100 in New York. For $95, Little Mad offers a 5 course Contemporary Korean tasting menu that will leave you stuffed. By sitting at the bar, we got a fun view of the open concept kitchen and felt like we were in the heart of the action. — #littlemadnyc #koreanfoodnyc #nycfoodguide @littlemadnyc @handhospitality

short: I only recommend this place for the salsa dance class and dance social on Mondays hosted by Talia long: horrible experience. I went directly from work for the free salsa dance class, and since I knew I was arriving very early, I had planned to eat and have a drink. The flyers posted on IG promoting the free salsa dance class clearly state the class starts at 7:00pm and the place opens at 5:00pm. I entered shortly after 5:00pm, after another guy entered. I had been patiently waiting outside half an hour. When we walked in, a guy (bartender Noe) asked us if we're there for the salsa class, to which we both replied yes. Then a woman (hostess Diana) that looked like she just rolled out of bed walked in past us and told us the class starts at 7 and the place opens at 6, to which I replied that I had checked online and it states the place opens at 5:00pm and that's when the attitude with stank faces and neck spasms began. I thought to myself, if she would have just given verbal attitude, I could have written it off as her just having a bad day day, but all that extra disrespectful body language and doubling down on her lying was too disrespectful to ignore. The guy immediately made efforts to diffuse the situation and accommodate me and the other guy and showed us where we could sit and gave me a menu. I seriously wanted to walk right out, which normally I would have done, but I missed out on my two favorite classes at Crunch Chelsea with Michael A to check out the free salsa dance class. To play it safe, I didn't order a drink, and I wasn't going to order food after that interaction with a staff member, but I was hungry. Noe, the bartender, is great and provides exceptional customer service. He's the guy that I mentioned earlier who did his best to resolve his coworkers' lack of professionalism and basic decent human behavior. He recommended: the smash burger; tacos; and steak sandwich. I've been eating Wayback burgers almost every day these past two weeks, so I ordered the steak sandwich. While waiting for the steak sandwich, I approached the other guy and asked him if the girl gave us attitude, I wanted to make sure it wasn't just me that had that impression, and he confirmed yes that she did but that maybe she was just having a bad day. I don't know why they call it a steak sandwich. It's a slop of crappy bacon with a side of maybe steak. I wasn't sure what that was. It was like eating chewy bacon because it was mostly bacon, and the bit of maybe steak gave it an overall chewy texture. When I was almost done with the first half, it finally occurred to me to remove the bacon, which I did as pictured, but the crappy bacon taste was so powerful that I could still taste it. So I just couldn't finish the sandwich. The location itself is beautiful and clean. The hostess Diana is a hot mess, and the owner can check the camera to see her giving stank faces and neck spasms shortly after 5:00pm on 7/14/25. The experience was so horrible that it was a torrential thunderstorm outside, and instead of waiting it out inside, I just ran to the bus stop instead. I only recommend the place for the free salsa dance class on Mondays, go elsewhere for food.

Waitress takes your credit card for a bar tab - at LUNCH! LOL - must be a large college contingent or regular dine & dash clientele. Super Low Class.

Food we ordered was 1 step above gas station quality. Pretzels were stale and bland. They do not honor what's described on the menu (shorted us 1 jalapeño cheese sauce on 2 orders) And asking for extra sauce (because they only fill the bullets up half way - very little bleu cheese for 6 wings) is a whole separate task. Here's a free tip for management....you are not saving anything by skimping on sauce, you are just being petty, and it's not a good look for your location.

Lastly, be aware, they pull the old Miami Beach - 20% Gratuity is Auto Added to your bill when presented. Its added to your bill total when presented and there is no notice of this anywhere before it hits your table. There is still a gratuity line if you want to tip more - but just be aware that your 20% gratuity is already added to your bill total. This slimey practice it also likely a big reason for poor service here. Sadly, wait staff is getting paid wether they provide service or not.

Not an enjoyable experience. Not...

This was my first and LAST time ever going here. The experience I had goes far beyond disgust. The whole place is a rip off and I do not recommend going here. There are a ton more bars in the area that operate better.

My friends and I went here for a NYE celebration and the advertisement was $25 for one hour open bar (9-10p). Except the line was down to the block for an hour and no one received an open bar. There was NO reason for the line too because upon entering at 9:58 there were barely any guests inside.

That alone is bad, but It got worse when I watched the male bartender on the first level steal from the customers. It was noticed because I had first paid for two drinks with a big bill and he shorted me “ten” dollars when he handed me my change back. He tried to charge us $14 a beer so he can pocket the extra change. I then asked for two beers again from another bartender who charged us the correct amount. I then went back to the first bartender to see if he’d charged the same and he did NOT - he tried to rip us off again!! I watched him up-charge ALL drinks on ALL customers ALL night and give himself the...
