I went last night to Reichenbach for the Champions League game, I just wanted to say that my personal experience was great to say the least I want to express a few concerns to owners/higher management. First, there was not many servers or wait staff in general, one bar tender and a TON of people all trying to be serviced at once. At the bar there were many people waiting for drinks with only one bar tender. I work in food and beverage/ hospitality management and I understand how hard the job can be. The way that folks were talking to the bartender and servers specifically was not okay. People were pushy and as time went on it got worse to ABUSIVE language being used towards the bartender and servers. The patrons do not understand that a human can only do so much and to be patient. That is no way to speak to anyone especially people serving food and beverage to you with a smile on their face. If you as a business knew of the game days schedule well ahead of time and have this certain restaurant concept wouldn’t you at least try to staff accordingly to not abuse the small amount of staff that was there that evening. Next. The screens all around the place were streaming the same game from different streaming services and was absolutely inconsistent and poorly executed to say the least. On top of that issue people go to the servers and bar to complain about the TVS which is obviously not their doing. Reviews being written poorly for last night have absolutely no understanding of how hard it can be and it shows. I’m not one to write a review but the owners specifically could take more care and attention to their people that work for them and maybe would have better results and output of food and beverage for nights like this. The women serving don’t deserve that kind of abuse and neither do the food runners. From someone who knows how challenging this industry can be, I want to commend the BARTENDER , the SERVERS and FOOD RUNNERS. I believe that the people who run the place need to take ownership of nights like this and do better to manage and staff. I gave 5 stars on service and food because that’s what was great. The atmosphere could improve based on the simple linking of streaming services to their screens and to staff according to these game nights. People shouldn’t have to take that kind of verbal abuse for only doing their jobs. It was hard to watch. I know how it is on slower nights because I frequently come with guests and just myself at times and have had great experience. Please do take my words into consideration it might help in the long...

Originally I gave this place a mid review. The food is good, it's spacious, and our original server was very good. I got the chicken schnitzel which comes with fries and a cucumber salad. I also got two beers, both $14 each for a liter.

At some point during my meal, I had eaten all of my schnitzel and left to use the restroom. When I came back my plate was gone, along with my fries and salad. Bummer, but no big deal. I wasn't even going to mention it.

Later, the manager came over and asked us to leave a review. I gave an honest review which said the food is fine, the beer is pricey, and I mentioned the waitress accidentally took my plate early. Well.... this was a big mistake.

While we were still dining, the manager came over and apologized for the meal being taken early and wanted to know if he could make up for it. I really didn't expect him to read the reviews while we were still there. I was kind of embarrassed and said that it wasn't a big deal and I would change my review later because he seemed very apologetic about it. We never saw our waitress again because I can only assume he reamed her out over it.

At this point we are done, and the manager comes over again. I think he is holding out on giving us the bill until I change my review. He is very persistent I change it and offers to comp my meal. Ioffered to change my HONEST review earlier to appease him, but now he is really pressuring me.

Later, our bill is still not there. He comes over a third time and says, "Our waitress says that one of your friends said it was okay to take your plate. I want to know who it was". Holy shit. Dude will not leave until someone confesses to telling the waitress it was okay to take my plate. Over a 3.5 star review that was generally on the positive side.

At the very end, he says the bill can only be split evenly amongst four cards. Our original server promised us at the start of the meal we could do separate checks. We didn't feel like dealing with this guy anymore than we already had, so we split it two ways. It was a headache.

To the manager, when you read this, I was going to change my review until you kept pestering me. You made everyone at the table very uncomfortable. In the future, when you ask for a review, don't freak so hard when it's not five stars.

I feel bad for our waitress, she made a simple mistake and I'm sure the manager ruined her night. The friends I went with were regulars and they swore to never return. So...

Firstly, I was sad to learn that the kitchen had closed by 9pm, which seemed really untimely. I walked in, got a seat at the bar, and ordered one very large beer. After my order, the waitress/bartender did not visit me again at all. There were about 5 waitresses and all they were doing was washing dishes. I saw other guests behind me that had empty glasses as well. My server did not visit me or pay any attention to me at all. She did plenty of other things to ‘look’ busy, but basically, all she did was wash dishes. I didn’t even see her make a mixed drink, which I wanted for myself. She might have poured three other beers the whole time I was there. I eventually sought the manager, who apologized and said that they were short staffed. This makes absolutely no sense to me because there were like 4/5 waitresses who seemed to be doing absolutely nothing other than collecting glasses and washing them. I was hungry and thirsty and did not have any attention paid to me as a customer. I ended up leaving at my demand to the manager and went to the bodega one block away that had phenomenally better service. I used to be a General Manager with one of the world’s busiest Steak n’ Shakes. Those bartenders didn’t do anything more than wash dishes and perhaps pour 3/4 beers. I was extremely disappointed in that they never came back to me to see if I needed anything and let my glass run completely dry without even bothering to check on my side of the bar. The solution? Have your servers take training in being customer-centric. It’s hard to call yourself a bartender if I don’t even see you make a drink. They claim to be busy, but I can promise you that labor is being wasted. Those 5 servers could have ran that bar like a boss, but they chose not to and intended to “look busy” instead. I had just biked across Manhattan and I thought I could count on this restaurant next to my hotel. I was wrong. Please be better. I did not tip and I truly should not even have been charged for the beer. Because they took my phone and ignored me, I didn’t have...
