Clearly all the 5-star reviews are fake or being paid off cuz this was the worst facial experience I have ever had.
The communication was terrible. The staff’s English was extremely limited, which made it hard to communicate effectively. For a facial costing $250, I expected a much higher standard of service. At one point, one of the estheticians asked if it was okay to talk to her coworker in Chinese. Not knowing what that would entail, I hesitantly said, 'I don’t know.' To my dismay, they proceeded to talk nonstop in their native language for 20 minutes+ while working on my sister and me. It was incredibly distracting and completely ruined any sense of relaxation.
When I finally couldn’t take it anymore and asked them to stop, one of them had the audacity to respond, 'You said it was okay.' First of all, I didn’t agree to nonstop chatter that would disrupt the service and make them less attentive. To make matters worse, the esthetician working on my sister was distracted, even touching her phone during the facial.
This was such an unprofessional and poorly executed service. It felt more like a cheap, low-quality spa experience you’d expect for $30 in Chinatown—not $250. I will never return and strongly advise others to avoid...
Read moreI had an amazing experience here with Hebe Skincare's signature facial. My aesthetician Janice was so sweet and incredibly thorough. I've found that some spas will skip extractions if the facial involves a hydrafacial vacuum, but here you get both.
After gently cleansing my face, Janice got straight into cleaning out all my pores. She made the extractions as painless as possible and I appreciated the extra attention she was paying towards areas I've been having some small break outs/ issues with.
The signature facial involves a lot of facial massage, which felt so lovely and really relaxes you. There's also red light therapy, high frequency treatment, and different face masks.
This is probably the best facial I've gotten in NYC – my face feels squeaky clean now. I will definitely be back! They seem to be very popular for lash extensions and laser treatments, so those are on my list to try here now.
The entire space is very beautifully decorated, it definitely feels like an aesthetic oasis away from the...
Read moreI came to HEBE Skin for their $250 signature facial after seeing tons of TikTok and Google reviews saying it was the most thorough facial people had ever gotten. I really spent hours trying to figure out the best place I should go for my facial in NYC while taking price point into account. The space is beautiful and I loved that they focus on Korean skincare, which is a big reason I chose it.
But honestly, the facial felt pretty standard. My aesthetician didn’t ask much about my skin or concerns—she just kind of did her thing. She checked in here and there, but I didn’t feel super guided or taken care of. At the end, I asked for recommendations and she said my skin was healthy and I should come once a month…which just felt like a generic upsell. It’s only been a day, so maybe results will show, but right now I don’t see much of a difference compared to facials I’ve gotten for $100...
