I'd been struggling to find a good B/W film lab for my 120 film, and then I stumbled onto the Small Darkroom. These guys are fantastic! I absolutely love the quality and the consistency of their processing, far superior to the bigger labs I've used in the past. Even their contact sheets are consistently well made, and one of my favorite features is that they will include any information you need straight onto contact sheet such as job names, dates, number of rolls, etc. Elizabeth at the front desk is incredibly helpful. I've been at it for 35 years, but I continue to learn so much from her, and I get excellent advice about pushing and pulling and so much more. Finally about five months ago I happened to stumble upon the picture house after a quick google search. 75+ rolls or something like that later of 120 and 35mm, black and white, color, and expired film, it has become my favorite place to bring my film in New York City, Someone else said it and I fully agree, this place is an absolute gem.
