Not worst nail experience but up there. I originally booked a UV Gel Tip appointment and Iām not sure if it was a miscommunication or misrepresentation of services because upon arrival I was hastily put into a chair and waited 10-15 minutes for service and wasnāt told to pick out a color when I was finally attended to I showed what I wanted done and they told me that āwith gelā they wouldnāt be able to do what I wanted and then handed be a color wheel of colors. Prior to this I expressed I wanted a light green (which they didnāt have) and was told they could only do dip on my nails (Iāve had dip before and I personally do not like it as it looks clumpy and makes my nails look thick rather than how sleek and flat UV gel tips are) I was under the assumption they would be able to do the chrome design I wanted on my dip nails but then was also told they couldnāt do it. The manicure itself was not very peaceful and it felt forced / my fingers and hand would often be flicked to the side. Iām just genuinely upset as I specifically booked an appointment for UV gel tips and they did not deliver on that nor the quality of the dip nails I was given. None of my nails are of the same shape or size as you can see in the photo the middle finger nail is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStay away!! She cut multiple fingers cuticles making me bleed, then continued to aggressively rub alcohol and some other liquid into my nails to try get them to stop bleeding. I asked for almond shape which they charge extra $ for (obviously these are not almond). I also asked for French tips, which they charge $15 extra for (the ātipsā as you can see look thick and flat and terrible). I did not have time to ask to get them redone and frankly didnāt want to spend another second there. I explained my awful experience at checkout and they tried to offer 30% off which I declined. They tried to tell me there was only blood on one cuticle (as if that made it not as bad?) even when there was visibly blood on 3, and 5 total had been cut and were STINGING. Not to mention how terrible they look. After standing my ground they eventually offered 50% off and said thatās all they could do (Iām sorry what???) but I still feel the treatment itself, the way they handled the situation, and the fact they still made me pay $37 for this is absolutely pathetic. Not to mention the huge safety and health concerns of cutting me and potentially risking myself and other customers of infection or worse. Do not give them your business,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTLDR: Annie did a dip powder manicure that was great, coworker messed up repair two weeks later.
Iām giving three stars because the original dip powder manicure I got with Annie was really well done! She was great. But today I went in because the polish on one of my fingers had began to lift, and I wasnāt going to get a fill at the 2 week mark, I like to wait until 3 at least.
The lady who was going to fix it thoughtlessly cut my real nail short and I snatched my hand away - she thought they were tips! So now I have 9 real nails and one cheap extension. Originally she apologized and said she would do a gel extension, but disappeared after the soak off and sent someone else to glue on a tip. The girl who did that also did a mediocre job, the nail is lumpy and misshapen. Iām posting two photos, one of my good hand at the two week mark, nice manicure and still in tact. Then a photo of the finger they messed up so badly today.
Overall the location is nice (I donāt know whatās downstairs), but it seems to be hit or miss with manicurists. Saving grace is that they didnāt charge me after they messed...
