warning: more than half of these 5 star reviews are from current/former employees of the store trying to offset the truthful, negative ones. If that wasn't obvious already by reading them.
I am honestly unsure of how this store is able to sustain its business. I've been a few times since moving to the area last year, and would not recommend it to anyone who's looking for authentic, quality vintage pieces. This store strongly resembles the likeness of over-priced drop shippers on Grailed. Honestly, you'd probably have a better experience there. Most of the clothes are not genuine vintage pieces, and are priced outrageously.
However, it is the customer service that have severely off-put me from returning to the store ever again. The first time I visited, the employee behind the counter barely looked up from whatever she was doing on her laptop and was puffing vape smoke into the air the entire time I was in there. The store's pretty small so it's kind of hard to ignore someone unless you're doing it on purpose. The second time I went in, it seemed like two people were having a photoshoot for Instagram and genuinely couldn't have cared less that there was a customer in the store. I probably could have robbed the place without them noticing, except I wouldn't want to go through all that trouble for the lamest "vintage pieces" I've ever seen.
As someone who's been passionate about vintage clothing for decades, it saddens me to see the LES getting overtaken by gimmicky depop sellers who hardly know a thing about fashion and the community beyond what's going to get them social media attention. I would recommend any other vintage stores in downtown Manhattan before this one - better yet, head to some of the other burrows for the most authentic and unique pieces at the most...

Read moreI had very short interaction with the staff but they were so sweet and really brought good energy to the experience. The selection here is perfectly curated and organized so you see exactly what you want, exactly when you want during your browsing. The store carries rare and unique pieces from retro and modern brands. The vibe of the store and selection is cohesive. I was able to find menace jeans with the JNCO style leg for cheaper than eBay or any other store. Yes, much of what they carry is expensive but trust that it’s more expensive everywhere else that curates their offerings. Really fun for window shopping, but be warned you might just fall in love with something and end...
